Step back in time in a hand crafted Pre-Civil War, hand hewn log cabin nestled in the quiet surrounds of Pocahontas county, WV. Enjoy nature at its best while sitting in the out door private hot tub, under the stars, or relax by a campfire. Snuggle up in front of the fire place. Open all year round, come and enjoy your favorite season at the Yank Cabin. What are you waiting for, come join us in Natures Mountain Playground!! Private back yard, with out door fire pit and private hot tub under the stars. Plenty of parking. Has wifi, but it is spotty due to the fact the cabin sits between two mountains. Best reception is on the front porch facing the office. Good for texting, not good for zoom or movies. Plenty of parking on sides of the streets and designated parking areas. Keeping in mind during Holiday and Events, parking is limited. During these peak times you can leave the vehicle at the cabin and walk into town. Marlinton offers two shuttle services. Pocahontas County / Marlinton, has iron in the water, which will have a light orange tinge. If you are not comfortable drinking water with iron in it you may want to bring bottle drinking water.
