This is a well loved high set holiday house consisting of a bright and airy kitchen and dining area with ocean glimpses from the many windows, lounge room with sofa bed and tv, a bedroom with trio bunk bed (single above and double below), a bedroom with double bed and polished floors, small bedroom with a single bed, back sunroom, refurbished bathroom, and a large fenced yard. This house has been in our family for four generations. This accommodation would suit a family, couple, or small group. The house is professionally cleaned between guests with simple COVID safe practices in place, suitable for an area where there have been and currently are no local transmissions of the disease. Off street parking. Well appointed kitchen with gas cook top and microwave/ convection oven. Television DVD player, board games, books. Basic breakfast items and basic cooking ingredients and food items. Large back garden. Wifi available. Happy to advise about local attractions and facilities. Mobile phone contact and personal contact with the host if necessary should an emergency situation or any other problem arise during stay. Margate is quiet, clean, safe, close to beach and amenities. Has its own special character. Close proximity to public and private hospitals and medical centres. Convenient shopping centre with supermarket, newsagent and pharmacy a short walk away. The house is just 260 metres from the water's edge where there is a lovely Boardwalk. It is a 20 minute walk up the beach to Settlement Cove, a beautiful manmade lagoon which is fun for all ages. Local buses about 200 metres away. Buses to Brisbane one block away. Train from Kippa Ring or Sandgate - both a short bus ride away. Easy access by car to Brisbane city, airport, Sunshine Coast and Australia Zoo and the Gold Coast and theme parks.
