Dela Costa House is a family home providing a quality hotel type accommodation with FREE continental breakfast, FREE parking, FREE access to Wifi, Netflix, and Foxtel. A luxurious place to stay offering utmost peace and comfort. The house is well positioned in the heart of Tuross Head with fabulous views, shops and dining places. A two minute drive to the beach, close enough to hear the roaring sound of the waves as it reached the shore. A perfect location to unwind and have a relaxing weekend. Tuross Head is a lovely town by the Pacific Ocean, there are heaps of local fishing spots and several look out to see the breath-taking views of Pacific Ocean. Visiting our town may also give you a chance to watch whales as they pass by during migration period usually commencing in May each year. Tuross Head beach is quiet, child friendly and great place for swimming, fishing and bush walking. For golf enthusiasts, Tuross Head Golf and Country club is a short distance walk from the house. The club is also a good place to dine while enjoying the magnificent joined panoramic views of the Coila Lake and the Pacific Ocean. There are other lovely places to dine in offering fine dining with a view and or simple fish and chips served in the wharf right beside the Tuross River. Tuross Head and the nearby towns have several interesting places and attractions that will make your visit a trip to remember. PURPLE ROOM is located upstairs, the room has a Queen size bed, built in wardrobe and a smart TV to watch local TV programs and access to Netflix. Hotel quality linens, towels, pillows and toiletries are provided. All linens and towels are freshly washed and ironed. Room is fully airconditioned with door lock for safety and privacy. Toilet and shower for this room is located on the same floor just outside the bedroom. Guests can also access the following facilities: LOUNGE AREA: The main lounge room for a formal quiet setting with smart TV to watch local TV programs and access to Netflix. Whilst the second lounge room which is adjacent to the Kitchen and Dining is more of a family setting. It has a bigger smart TV to watch local TV programs and both Foxtel and Netflix. DINING AREA: There are two dining areas one with a 6 seater table and another 8 seater table both located near the back veranda where you can enjoy the Tuross lake view while having dining. BACK VERANDA: Outdoor chairs and table are available to have an outdoor breakfast whilst enjoying the lush garden below and the bush trees in the back reserve area adding up to the serene backdrop of the yard and matching the warm beautiful sunshine in the morning. KITCHEN: Guests can use the fridge/freezer, microwave, tea and coffee facility, Nespresso machine, water kettle, sandwich press and toaster all located in the common kitchen area. Nespresso coffee pods, tea, sugar, milk, cereals, and biscuits are provided for the guest’s FREE continental breakfast. Dishes, cutlery, coffee mugs, wine and drinking glass, bowls cup and saucers are also available for your convenience. OTHER PROVISIONS: First Aid kit, blood pressure monitor, Fire extinguisher, Fire blanket are available and located in common kitchen area. Chess board and other indoor board games are available for family interaction and entertainment. Selections of pocketbooks and magazines to enjoy peace and quiet time. Portable Cot, Highchair, Iron/Ironing board and Hair Dryer are available upon request. We are happy to be contacted if you have any query or request prior to the confirmation of your booking. We stay in the property but guests will be given their own space and privacy. We will be available to guests and ready to provide assistance if needed. To maintain its family home aura, we make sure house is always clean and in order and a NO SMOKING policy should be strictly followed. Partying and drinking spree are also not allowed inside the premises. We expect all guests to respect these rules and maintain cleanliness in the house. Tuross Head locals are friendly and family-oriented people, mostly consists of professionals and retirees creating a safe and quiet community. Please respect the peace and order around the Tuross Head neighbourhood. Parking around Tuross head is free, it is also safe and lovely to walk around the neighbourhood down to the beach and look out. Murrays bus runs everyday from Canberra via Queanbeyan and Batemans Bay down to Narooma. Bus can drop passengers right in Tuross Head Shops. For other bus pickup points and schedules as well as fare cost please go to Murrays websites. Guests must observe a NO SMOKING and NO excessive consumption of alcohol policy inside the premises at all times. Celebrations, indoor family games and gatherings are allowed up until 10 pm only. You may continue to do so BUT would need to keep the noise down after 10pm in respect to the nearby neighbors. Entire house floor is made of timber, also for sanitary purposes NO Shoes inside the house must be observed, clean and sanitized slippers will be provided. NO pets are allowed. Foods and drinks are NOT allowed inside the bedrooms. House rules should be strictly followed, and guests should maintain order and cleanliness in the house. Guest/s must climb stairs. The house has a flight of stairs going up to top floor and or going down to entrance level. For safety, adults must look after kids below 5 years old when going up or down the stairs. Driveway is quite steep hence if you hesitate to drive down to the lower parking area, the top side area in front of the property is also a safe place to park and available free of charge to all guests. We stay in our own private place in the property which has a different entrance and exit. It is totally separated to where the guests stay to give guests their safety, security and utmost privacy. We stay in the property mainly to do maintenance and to provide immediate assistance to guests should the need arises. As long as the house policies are being observed we don't interfere with our guests on their entire stay. Guests can only see/talk to us when we welcome them on their check in and when they check out.
