Built in 1930s, St Hilary's House is a lovely detached property with bright, sun-filled rooms, set in a large and secluded pretty garden. Sitting in an elevated, quiet position on the edge of the popular village of Little Walsingham, with views across the village from the first floor, and over open fields to the rear - at certain times of year you can catch a glimpse of the Walsingham to Wells toy steam train as it passes by. The house is a mix of contemporary and traditional furnishings, feels very spacious with several living areas and has the bonus of four en-suite bedrooms, two of which could be classed as private suites as they have their own inner hall and private doorway to the main corridor. Outside the gardens wrap around three sides of the property, with a gravel driveway and parking space for seven cars. A west facing patio and hexagonal paved seating area take full advantage of the afternoon and evening sun - ideal for lazy days and evening barbecues - and perfect for dogs being enclosed too. Just two minutes walk from the excellent village Farm Shop and only five minutes walk from two great pubs. Easy access to the local coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea (a bus regularly passes by at the bottom of the road), where you will find everything and more you would expect from a seaside town - great shops, cafes, busy quayside and stunning beach with its famous array of colourful beach huts. This is a fabulous house with a wonderful, homely feel and will be a popular destination for families and couples. There is both a hi-fi and vinyl record player, with a selection of LPs and CDs. An archway leads to Dining room Dining table with seating for ten. Original parquet flooring and french doors lead to the patio area and lovely rear garden. Kitchen Well-equipped with a two-oven gas Rangemaster cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer; with breakfast bar and two high stools. Pantry Fridge/freezer and storage cupboards and shelving Boot room Also with direct access from the garden, this is a handy space with plenty of hooks for coats. Snug With wood burning stove, well-stocked bookshelves, a selection of games, table football, a card table and baby grand piano. Family room With large L-shaped sofa, armchair, sheepskin rug, Smart television with Blue-ray DVD and a selection of games. First Floor: Master bedroom suite (Bedrooms one and four) From the landing the door leads into a small inner hallway with seating and storage. Master bedroom The main bedroom has a super-king-size zip and link bed which can be made into twins (request on booking, if required), dressing table and wardrobe and cheval mirror. Bedroom four A separate room with a single bed and truckle bed (request on booking, if required), wardrobe, dressing table and views over the extensive garden. Bathroom A bathroom completes the master suite, with large double shower, twin basin vanity unit, bath with handheld shower and WC. Bedroom two A zip-and-link bed can be made into a king-size or 2'6" twin beds (please request on booking). There is a wardrobe and dressing table. En-suite bathroom With a bath and handheld shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom three (mini suite) A doorway off the landing leads into an inner hallway. From this hallway, there is a bedroom with full size twin single beds with pine bedheads, wardrobe and dressing table. Shower room With shower cubicle and wash basin and a separate cloakroom with WC. There is a door from the shower room that leads to the fire escape (for security, this door is kept locked with bolts at the top and bottom). Bedroom five Twin single beds with iron bedsteads, built-in wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers, small television with built-in DVD player. En-suite shower room With a shower cubicle, wash basin and WC. Outside: The pretty enclosed large garden, with well stocked borders, wraps around three sides of the property with a west-facing patio. There is a spacious gravel parking area for seven cars. Additional Information One well behaved dog welcome (small additional charge). Bedroom 2 has a single bed with truckle bed
