Cozy house in the countryside

The small cozy part of the house is available to guests alone and is not used by us personally. The guesthouse is located about 1 km from the train station in Rikon. The accommodation is located in the nature in the beautiful Tösstal which invites you to relax and hike. The Tösstal has various hiking routes. In Rikon there is a public swimming pool, various restaurants and a village shop. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses and cutlery. For reasons of space, the part of the house is basically suitable for 2 people, since the rooms are rather small. For those who need the accommodation mainly to sleep, there are still 4 beds available. All beds are in the same bedroom. Climbing stairs is required. For families with children, the space in the part of the house should be sufficient for a longer stay. Own garden seat, washing machine with dryer, coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer, TV, DVD, radio. We are not a hotel, but we are ready to provide part of our home to travelers, even for one night only. We also provide generous inventory for use at a fair price. But we expect that the accommodation will be treated with care and respect like a home. The garden and table tennis can be shared. The neighboring property may not be entered. For two nights booked the use of the washing machine is included. Basically, we leave our guests their space and we wish the same of them, but are happy to answer any questions you may have and help with your planning. But if it suits all sides, we are happy to chat with guests or have tea / coffee together. Languages: We speak German, but we can communicate in English and French. In Rikon there is a village shop and various restaurants. The village has its own public swimming pool. The nearby forest can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Rikon is part of the municipality of Zell and surrounded by nature. The house is located in the agricultural zone and is surrounded by nature and fields. In summer, there are various ways to enjoy nature and relax. Or you can explore the area, for example with the steam train that leaves from Bauma or the nearby castle Kyburg. Rikon has its own swimming pool, which is open during the summer months. In winter, when there is enough snow, there is the possibility to ski down smaller slopes in the nearby area. 1 km from the house is the river Töss, there you can walk along the shore or you can walk around the Himmelrich pond which is 2 km away. The centers of Winterthur are 12 km, Zurich 28 km, Schaffhausen 38 km and Frauenfeld 26 km by car. The train station is about 1 km from the property. about 10 to 15 minutes walk. Since the shooting range is located in the immediate vicinity, which is however little used, it can be a bit noisy in the garden for a short time. In the house but you hear little of the bang.
