"Suite 16" is our newly decorated guest suite attached to our family home but with its own private entrance. Suitable for short stay solo travelers and couples. Suite 16 has a double bed, private bathroom, Samsung TV, wifi, parking and in summer a communal swimming pool (April to September). Close to Challignac, surrounded by vineyards and countryside. The village is surrounded by vineyards and in June and July you can enjoy the beauty of the sunflower fields. Barbezieux-Saint-Hilaire - 10 minutes by car. Shopping, restaurants, cafes and a large supermarket. A beautiful and historic town with a market twice a week. Angoulême - 30 minutes by car (Angoulême to Bordeaux by train 1 hour). Cognac - 30 minutes by car. Superb shopping. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Angoulême, the TGV provides fast connections to Bordeaux and Paris. Challignac is just 10 minutes south of the N10 motorway. Bordeaux airport is 1 hour and 10 minutes south. There are many car rental options. A parking space is allocated to the gîte. The suite has a coffee maker and we provide small plates and cutlery should you wish you bring your own pastries or snacks.
