Self Contained Guest Suite

Easy going hosts, happy to share our home in leafy residential Gowrie. This stand alone guest suite (large bedroom + private en-suite) is adjacent to our home gym. We do train in the gym most mornings from about 6:30 am (8am on weekends). If you are not an early riser, the noise will wake you up, thus the low price. Of course we would love for you to join in. Aside from our morning training sessions you will have the place all to yourself!! Unlimited free WiFi, no (zero!) cleaning fees. Next to the room there is a fully equipped gym suitable for training all strength sports and a therapeutic far infrared sauna (it's fantastic in winter!) There is a portable induction cook top under the bench and the basic utensils for cooking your own meals. In the colder months, there are extra blankets & a spare doona on the shelf, a tower heater in the room and a tastic heater in the bathroom to keep you warm and cosy. For the warmer months, a vornado fan keeps the room at a comfortable temperature. The wifi network and password are on the router box on the desk, a power board with usb ports above the bed and charging cables for both iphone and Android are available upon request. There is a smart TV in the room. Although there is no terrestrial signal available, guests have access to entertainment apps such as 7plus, SBS On Demand, as well as Netflix (guest account) and Amazon Prime Video. The guest suite is private, self contained with it's own entrance and has a small kitchenette in a shared space (the most awesome gym!!!). We live in the property, so please do come over if you need anything at all. The open curtain means we are in and available for anything from a cuppa and a chin wag to catching spiders for ya! Our house is located: - 1.5 km from Erindale Centre (Woolworths) and a great variety of restaurants on Gartside Street, Wanniassa - 2.4 km from Chisholm Village Shopping Centre (Aldi + Coles) - Close to Tuggeranong (3.5km) or Woden Westfield (10 km) Shopping Centres - where several Government Departments are located. - 20 mins drive to Civic or the Parliamentary triangle (17 km) We will always try to great our guests personally. When that's not possible, self check-in is available as the unit has a key box.
