Exeter luxury vintage caravan! Amazing view.. (#1)

We are an eco, off grid campsite conveniently only 2 miles out of the city but situated in the beautiful and tranquil Devon countryside. This listing is for one of our two beautiful caravans available (please see our other listings to book the other caravan and also listings we have for our cute wooden hut and our tent/caravan/motorhome pitches). We welcome you to our lovely space x This is one of our lovely, spacious vintage caravans for hire on our chilled out campsite in Exeter, Devon. We are privileged with stunning views and are conveniently situated only five minutes drive from the city centre, we are near local amenities and tourist attractions and only a ten minute walk to the local pub..but we are still far enough away from town to have a peaceful and tranquil feeling for your stay. You can bring your own linen or hire it from us at £10 per set required during your stay. Basic cooking equiptment provided. TV in caravan. Great 3g/4g signal. Own picnic table. Wood burner. We have two chrome vintage caravans, this listing is for the silver and black one, please see our other listing for the silver and pink one. We have a great communal fire pit area and you're welcome to have off the ground BBQ's and fires. We have water points which are sourced by a borehole, we love this water but you may want to bring your own bottled water. Parking is available next to the caravan but if you have more than one vehicle please let us know before booking to make sure we have the space to park them. One car is included in price. If there are more than two of you, you are welcome to bring a tent to put outside the caravan. Tent pitch fees apply, payable on arrival. We sell firewood and also our own free range eggs (subject to availability). Minimum 2 night stay. You will be hiring the whole caravan which has a bed, sofa, living area, kitchen area etc and sharing shower/loo spaces with other campsite users as we have a separate shower and toilet area. We have an eco loo (don’t be afraid.. even the guests who were highly sceptical of these loos have loved our one..some have even taken photos of it as they were so impressed ), a shower and changing room and washing up facilities on site. These are separate to the caravan but very close. Electric hook up is free with this caravan, but as we are run solely by the sun, use is limited to low wattage appliance to avoid power running out. (ie no electric kettles etc). Shower is free. Please respect other guests and neighbours peace and privacy. Water and electric provided (we are powered solely by the sun so only low wattage appliances please, ie no electric heaters etc), and also wood burner provided. We sell fire wood, subject to availability, if you need to light the burner. At present wifi is not available, but there is a strong 3G/4G phone signal to pick up internet access on your mobile phone/dongle etc. Phone/laptop charging point. Wildlife haven. Beautiful, glitzy but cosy accommodation!! Very different from the usual glamping yurts/tipis etc!! Drinking water is from a tap where the shower and toilet facilities are. Our water is from a borehole, we love it but you may want to bring your own drinking water. Due to the vintage nature of the caravan we ask you to be wary of causing damage to them as any damage will need to be paid for. Hammock areas available. If we aren’t there to greet you we will give you a key code for the gate and leave the keys in the door of the caravan for you. Check out is 11am. Please leave key in caravan door when you leave if we are out. Please lock gate anytime you come in or out during your stay. The local pub is just down the country road. Around a ten minute walk. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. City centre 5 min drive. Beaches and Dartmoor etc easy driving distance away. Easy access to town by car and only a five/ten minute walk to bus stop. Or approx 20 min walk into town. Shops etc within easy cycling distance, quite hilly but still rideable. Uni very near. Loads of tourist attractions nearby... Dartmoor, beaches, estuary, kids days out etc etc!!! We aren’t always at home, but will catch up and say hi when we do get home.
