Native American / Western themed decor. Cozy, warm and inviting. This room has a kitchenette and coffee / tea bar and private bathroom. The décor is awesome, most guests chose this suite for their getaway visit. It is the most rented suite. You could spend all afternoon reviewing the art, sculptures, and memorabilia from the Frontier days. The only bed is a HUGE bedframe on a king sized memory foam mattress. While guests can retire to the privacy of their own suite, the inviting Commons encourage interactions in the Living Room, Dining Area, Bar Area, or glassed-in Sunporch overlooking the entire city of Pawhuska from the West. The view is breathtaking. From atop Grandview Avenue, it is clearly the best view in town! Your suite contains a private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The center part of the house downstairs (The Commons) is the house's living room, dining room, bar area, and a glassed-in sunporch across the back of the house overlooking the city, even back across Hwy 99. Enjoy the oversized furniture, the huge TV, work on your laptop, or just bring your coffee down to the sunporch and enjoy the best view of sunrise in town! Guests often visit with each other in The Commons, sharing "must see" attractions, reviewing the food in great local restaurants, & identifying "the best" local shopping. I'll greet you at the front door to teach you the security requirements, walk you through the Common Rooms, brag on the highlights of our community, and provide you with information & brochures about things to see and do. While I'm headed up or down stairs with laundry, I stop to catch my breath and love to chat with any guests sitting in the Commons. Once you are in your private suite, you are given complete privacy. You call me, if needs arise. I am one street west of Ki-Heh-Kah (the main N/S street through town), but up on top of huge hill overlooking the city. My Inn is across the road from my Osage Campus, directly across from the Osage Nation Museum and the Osage War Veterans' Memorial. Walk through the parklike setting, visit the Campus buildings, or sit a spell at the Memorial to read the names engraved on the walls, enjoy the waterfalls, hear the wind in the flags, or picnic in one of the three arbors with views of the outdoor sculptures. Relaxing and gorgeous! We don't actually have public transit "up here on the Rez", but there is a six seater horse-drawn carriage down on Ki-Heh-Kah on most weekends, if you will enjoy the slow ride. You can always park directly outside the Inn, but many guests chose to walk down the city stairs to do their shopping, eating and sightseeing. There is publc parking around town if you prefer to take your car. I don't allow children under 10, so that they will be safe at the Inn, and ALL guests will get a great night's sleep without childhood behavioral distractions.
