Based in South Wales next to the famous Waterfall Country, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and only a stone throw away from several beaches including the Gower Peninsular and Swansea bay. You have the option to stay local on our field and enjoy what South Wales has to offer or pack up and hit the open road, or a bit of both, the choice is yours. There is a small double fixed bed, a L shape lounge area which can be used as a single bed if required and included is the drive away awning with the option of a internal 2 man tent or additional storage. (Bedding is provided for the double bed only, guest are encouraged to bring suitable bedding for the tent) Next to the bed is storage for plenty of clothes so there is no need to live out of a suitcase. The kitchen is packed full of the required equipment to rustle up your favourite meals with its 3 point gas stove, cooking pots, frying pan, kettle and utensils. There is more than enough cutlery and plates to accommodate 4 people and the sink and it’s cold water pressure tap is perfect to clean up afterwards. Under the sink is a fridge to keep all your essentials cool ready for your next meal. Outside the van offers spacious room to stretch out and relax in the British weather, making use of the 2 XL camp chairs and table. Keeping your beers cool is a cool box which keeps ice frozen for at least 2 days. Also comes with the Campervan is an awning, portable AC unit, Digital Radio, toilet, portable shower, bbq and all the bits and pieces required to have a relaxing fun packed holiday. (There is too much to list on here so please ask if you need something specific, we may have it) Guests have access to the whole property and everything you see in the pictures. There is also a portable site toilet located on the field which can be used by the guests if they wish. We will meet and greet you on arrival and show you the space and explain how things work. Then I will allow you to relax and enjoy access to the whole field to your selves. I am available on (Hidden by Airbnb) or messages through out the day to answer any questions or offer advice. We are located in the perfect spot for a campsite, surrounded by the Neath Valley and situated next to Glynneath lakes and local to the start of many of the Waterfall trails. There are many tourist activities to do in the area such as; Zip World Dan yr Ogof Caves Wales Ape & Monkey Sanctuary Penderyn Whiskey Distillery Bike Park Wales. And more depending how far you wish to travel. If tourist activities are not your thing, there is plenty of space to play games or sit back and relax whilst roasting marshmallows on a campfire. There is plenty of free space to park your car at the property. Part of the access road is fairly bumpy and is not recommended for low profile sport cars. A car is required to get to most tourist activities but a local bus route passes the main entrance to the property lane (approx 500m walk). This takes you in to the local village where you can catch a shuttle up to some of the waterfall access points if you don’t wish to drive. Or the Neath Valley is excellent for cycling. Whether is on the road with your road bikes or down the canal or trails with mountain bikes.. Just to be clear, we are not a registered campsite but a family that has a comfortable Campervan and open space which we believe is in a perfect location to base your self at to explore South Wales and all it has to offer. Toilet facilities include the cassette toilet that comes with the Campervan and is ideal when out off grid and the on site portable site toilet. Shower facilities is currently a portable gas operated shower inside a utility tent which offers warm water for swilling off after a days activity. Just think camping but more comfortable. We have easy access just off the A465 but it does mean that traffic can be heard through out the day. If you wish to drive the Campervan away this is subject to T&Cs and other related costs.
