We want to encourage folks to: get out of their apartments, get out of the city, stay safe and sane somewhere you can have some space! Use our kayaks to enjoy the famous Bay of Fundy that’s located steps away. Or take in the tides from the back deck while you BBQ some dinner. Come have a fire! You’ll want to make sure you stay long enough to get the tide when it’s in!** -Queen sized bed and one Queen sized air mattress - new BBQ + propane -WIFI *SPOTTY* -Smart TV Limited kitchen. Includes: Refrigerator, Microwave, Toaster Oven, Coffee Machine (including coffee,filters and sugar), Hot Plate -Fire pit and wood (fireban permitting) There is plenty of space for tents as well if you need more space! Just ask! The owner (Doug) lives on the property in a separate house, and you will see him taking care of Toto the miniature horse and Duke and Ruby the miniature donkeys. And also his old pup Jake! A wonderful stop for those who are on their way to PEI or Nova Scotia, or are here to enjoy New Brunswick in its own right! -Simpson hill is a wonderful hiking spot located 5 km away - there is a small lake 3km away that’s great for fishing, swimming and kayaking! Ask Doug how to get there. -Take the 20 minute free ferry to Deer island! Deer Island is still largely driven by fishing and aquaculture, with tourism playing a lesser role. As a result, it’s quiet and there aren’t a lot of services here. Its all about rest and relaxation. Pack a lunch or head to 45th Parallel restaurant for their lobster rolls, they're delicious! The island is easy to tour by car or also easily bike-able! Make sure to check out "Old Sow Whirlpool" - From there you are able to take the ferry to Campobello Island! It should be back up and running by *JUNE 21ST 2020* (Please check for yourselves for updates if this is something you would like to do! Campobello Island is a beautiful island off the Coast of Maine but located in New Brunswick Canada on the Bay of Fundy. Campobello Island is one of three of the Fundy Islands; the "Fundy sisters" as they are sometimes called with the other "sisters" being Grand Manan and Deer Island. Theres lighthouses, whale watching, restaurants and the Roosevelt Campobello international park. CURRENTLY CLOSED DUE TO COVID19: -5 kings restaurant serving Picaroons local NB beer! (10 km) -Kingsbrae Garden (18 km away) -Huntsman Marine Science Centre Fundy Aquarium (17 km away) Check out this whale watching place, these guys are great! A car is needed to tour Oak Bay. There is plenty parking on the property! Full biking lanes throughout the whole area for the cycling enthusiasts , and great hiking trails nearby.
