Double room in renovated townhouse. The accommodation is 2 km from the city center, surrounded by avenues and parks. The tram is around the corner and can be used for free with the guest ticket. Generous lounge & bathroom. On request/extra charge we can serve you breakfast, lunch or dinner. Shopping possibilities nearby. B & B Laupenring is a 100-year-old townhouse. It was gently renovated in 2016 and has beautiful parquet floors. The furniture has been designed and manufactured by the owner. The bathrooms are high quality equipped. All guests may enjoy their stay in the living room / lounge, dining room and on the balcony. We are living in the neighbour house. You can always ask us. Within a 5 minute walk are grocery stores, bakery, pharmacy, post office, textile cleaning, coffees and restaurants. The Zoo, a city park with coffee is reachable within 10 minutes. The park and the nearby forest are ideal for jogging trips. Public transport: Every guest receives a free Mobility Ticket when they check in. The Mobility Ticket enables guests to use public transport in the city of Basel and its surroundings free of charge. The tram stop is right next to the house. By tram, you can reach SBB station in 8 minutes or the city center in 11 minutes. The airport can be reached from the railway station SBB by bus in 13 minutes. Car Parking: Public parking in the Blue Zone. Saturday-Sunday: parking is free. Monday-Fryday, from 7pm to 7am: parking is free. Monday-Fryday, from 7am to 7pm: you can park 90 minutes for free, if you put the parking time-card. More than 90 minutes during the day: tickets can be purchased at the tram (streetcar) ticket machine in front of the house. The prices are: ½-day CHF 6.- 1 day CHF 10.- Additional services: • Breakfast from 8 am to 10 am, CHF 15.- per person per day • Other meals price depending on the offer and by arrangement • Laundry service CHF 10.– per wash&dry. • Ironing service CHF 5.– per garment • Use of the kitchen is only possible by arrangement, usage fee CHF 25.- If the kitchen needs to be cleaned, this will be charged additionally. • Late-checkout after 10am only on request, CHF 20.–/person
