Emsworth Woodland Retreat

Self contained woodland annexe, for up to 2 adults/2 children. Situated on the edge of the beautiful coastal town of Emsworth and surrounded by woodland walks through Stansted Park & Hollybank Woods. Within walking or cycle distance of Emsworth and Westbourne, and great road and rail access to Bosham, Chichester, Portsmouth and Goodwood. You will have access to your own kitchenette, dining space, en-suite, a washing machine and garden area. Breakfast cereals & hot drinks are provided. Our annexe enjoys all the countryside charm and looks out onto tranquil woodlands and if you're lucky you may be greeted by deer when you awake. It's a 1 mile walk into Emsworth town that is full of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants with stunning seaside views. Just a short drive or train ride away from Chichester for a days shopping and historical exploring or perhaps you fancy a day out a Goodwood for the horse racing or visiting the amazing sculpture park. Self contained annexe with access to the garden area and outdoor seating. Facilities available with are a kitchen, dining space for up to 4 people inside and outside as well as an en-suite shower room with a washing machine/dryer. It may be possible to arrange a taxi service free of charge from our property to Emsworth train station. We live in the adjoining house and will be around to help should you require but we prefer to leave guests to have their own privacy. We are one of two grooms cottages built in 1860 and feel like we are located in the heart of the countryside however we are actually very close to all the local amenities with lots around to keep you entertained. A car is recommended if walking or cycling isn't your thing, but either way you will find plenty to do locally. Emsworth offers free parking on Bridge Street, otherwise there are plenty of pay and display car parks. Westbourne offers free parking. Chichester is 8 miles, Goodwood is 9.5 miles and Portsmouth/Southsea is 8.5 miles away, all offer great entertainment. Emsworth rail station is 1 mile and Havant rail station is 2 miles and both have excellent links to places like Chichester, Portsmouth and London. For those with a young child we do have a garden center with a cafe 10 minutes walk from us that has a small soft play. We can offer lots of advice on local attractions for children. Our annexe is designed to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. We have a maximum capacity of 2 adults/2 children including any infants. The room is open plan and comprises of a double bed and sofa bed with a kitchen and dining area.
