A beautifully rebuilt house and new apartment in grounds with private pool. Direct access to the Arolo beach and lake Maggiore. This stunning remodel has taken over 3 years to complete and is done to the highest standard, providing a truely unique lake side setting. The house sleeps up to 6 and the apartment sleeps 4. Available as a complete rental, or possible to split. Private parking in underground garage, wifi, sonos hifi and bespoke furniture throughout. The main house of Villa lago Maggiore dates from the early 1900s and has been subject to a total renovation to the highest standards. Stretching over 3 floors the house sleeps 5/6 people. The neighbours are helpful local people, however they are also our friends and as such we would rather not rent to people who intend to party by the pool until late. As such we prefer the rental to go to people who will fully respect the property and other peoples vacations. Thanks for your understanding. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen, living dining room and living room. Full height glass doors on 2 walls give plenty of light and a view over the grounds and lake. The custom kitchen is fully equipped with the latest appliances such as induction hob, icemaker and quality serving equipment. The dining area seats up to 8 and childrens seating is provided. The living space has a 40" TV with UK channels as well as the latest apps. There is also a toilet provided on the ground floor. A Sonos system provides excellent quality listening both inside and outside of the house where speakers are integrated into the property. All doors open onto the terrace area where there is seating for 8, a large sun umbrella, a barbecue and access to the pool and outdoor shower. On the first floor the complete floor is given over to the master suite, which comprises a Super King bed, plenty of inbuilt storage, and an on-suite bath and shower room. TV and Sonos is also built into the room, which has a panoramic vista out over the grounds and lake. Air conditioning is provided. The 2nd floor combines 2 further bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. One bedroom has a standard King bed and the other has a bed 120 cm wide, making it suitable for 1 or 2 people. All bedrooms have air conditioning, and ample storage. The bathroom is built into the roof of the building and has restricted height in places, but also has a spacious shower, and ample storage. Quality linens and towels are provided throughout. The Apartment of Villa lago Maggiore is set into the ground as the property slopes down towards the lake. This gives a lovely separation allowing for the apartment to be quite private from the rest of the property. It also has its own garden infront of the lake, and its own entrances, quite separate from the main property. On the roof of the apartment is a large terrace area and there is additionally terrace area infront of the apartment accessible from all rooms via the opening glass doors. The apartment is designed to be fully self contained, and comfortably sleep 4 people. The living room and kitchen area have a built in custom kitchen with Miele appliances. The full kitchen can be closed off, giving a sleek look to the apartment if the kitchen area is not required. For dining there is a table outside suitable for 4, aswell as an island and seating inside the property. There is also a 40" TV with UK channels and all apps, a Sonos system with integrated speakers, as well as air conditioning in the main living area. The master bedroom has excellent views out onto the lake and garden and a standard King bed. The 2nd bedroom has 2 large single beds custom built into the room shape to make best use of space and the natural light. This also allows for plenty of floor space, inbuilt storage and a built in work desk. The bathroom provides full facilities including a large walk in shower and plenty of natural light. The apartment has a 2nd toilet near the entrance. Quality linens and towels are provided You will have private use of the house and apartment. However should you wish to rent only the house or the apartment separately, please be in touch. I am available for questions, and we have local people able and willing to help. Arolo itself is a beautful old lakeside village, famous for its unspoilt beach and harbour. The house has direct access to the beach area, which has a good cafe / bar and childrens playground, as well as a large grassed area to sit and steps down to the lake for swimming. Arolo has only a few restaurants, but is close to many other towns and villages with lots to offer. We have many suggestions which we will gladly share with you, and include in the welcome pack. The east side of Lago Maggiore is a quiet haven and Arolo itself is not really known to tourists. Therefore enjoy your time here and mix with locals, who are very friendly, especially to families and will also offer their advice. This is a quiet area suited for families. The neighbours are close to the property and do not appreciate loud guests, especially in the evenings and nights. This property is not suitable for parties. I would always suggest renting a car. The house is only 45 mins drive from Malpensa airport. We have parking for up to 5 cars on the premises.
