Bright beautifully appointed spacious private room

In a nice residential area, we rent a large and comfortable double room with private bathroom and terrace occupying our top floor. Downtown Basel and the fair are easily reachable by tram. Breakfast and dinner upon request and availability. In einem schönen Wohnquartier, vermieten wir ein grosszügiges Attika-Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Terrasse. The room we rent is located on the top floor of our home and takes up the whole floor (25 m2). Access is through our living room and the floor above. It has a private bathroom with bath/shower and hair dryer, and direct access to two terraces, one of them with an open view over the green area around. A table, two chairs, a deckchair and a convenient garden umbrella are at your disposal. Breakfast and dinner can be shared with us or served in your private area, upon agreement. I will be happy to cook for you whenever my daily schedule allows. We live at the edge of the forest close to numerous walking paths and are far from urban noise; as a rule the whole area is very quiet. However, the small Basel airport is not far, and at certain times of day windows must to be closed to avoid the sound of air traffic. A private space for parking is always available on our property. Public transportation is reached on foot in approximately 7 minutes. There are various direct connections into the city and to the Basel fair. Das Zimmer (25m2) und die 2 Terassen nehmen den ganzen obersten Geschoss unseres Hauses ein. Man erreicht es über das Wohnzimmer und den ersten Stock. Es hat ein eigenes Badezimmer mit Bad/Dusche und Haartrockener. Eine der 2 Terassen bietet eine weite und offene Sicht über die grüne Umgebung. Ein Tisch, Stühle, Liegestuhl und Sonnenschirm stehen zur Verfügung. Gerne werde ich für Sie kochen wenn meine Agenda es erlaubt. Frühstück und Nachtessen können mit uns geteilt werden, oder separat auf der Terrasse nach Möglichkeit und Absprache arrangiert werden. Wir sind in einer ruhigen Wohngegend nahe am Wald und Felder. Allerdings hört man tagsüber zeitweise abfliegende Flugzeuge. Bei geschlossenen Fenster ist man im Haus jedoch gut abgeschirmt. Ein Besucherparkplatz steht immer zu Verfügung. Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel erreicht man zu Fuss in ca 7 Minuten und es bestehen mit Tram und Bus verschiedene direkte Verbindungen in die Stadt und zur Messe Basel.
