Our home is a bluestone terrace built in 1860. A large, restful and beautiful private ground floor room with its own bathroom. Ideal for a relaxed stay. Only 5 minutes walk to the botanical gardens, cafe and beach. Access to established garden, pond, bikes and outdoor living spaces. We welcome diversity, children and small dogs too. Close to the sea, parks, nature walks and shops. A short stroll to many cafes, historical interests, parks and public transport. Set in a very private lush green with a pond in the rear. Great for relaxing , contemplating and just doing nothing!come count the fish, spot the turtle or reflect upon a water lily. Plenty of comfortable outdoor seating either on the front verandah or down and under the backyard patio . The large bedroom has a westward evening view through the verandah. Glimpse the sea and watch the sunset. The room has its own bathroom and operating fireplace. There is a spare mattress that fits in to the room if required. Limited access to the Kitchen may b negotiated. Tea and coffee facilities provided. Train station just 5 minutes walk. Bus 100 metres, Loads of parking outside. Shops and Supermarket 10 minutes walk or a quick bike ride away. The front bedroom, front veranda, hall and bathroom are all yours. Limited access to kitchen. Access to rear garden, patio and pond. We provide a kettle, tea and coffee, cereal for breakfast and seasonal fruit. Happy to provide information or suggestions if needed. A very short stroll to the sea at both ends of the street, for swimming, watching the sun set, watching the Melbourne lights sparkle across the bay, or strolling and enjoying the world. We are 2 minutes walk to the beautiful Williamstown Botanical gardens. There are plenty of restaurants close by to choose from, a great Library, Historic Society, life theatres and sailing clubs. Extremely easy access to points of interest including the science museum, Yarraville village, Footscray Arts Centre, Newport brewery(Two Birds), cafes, bakery's, restaurants and bars in Yarraville, Sedden, Newport, Altona and Footscray. close by to Nature walks, historic trails or bike rides. Park your car or van - catch a train or bus- straight from the airport if you need! Ride your bike or walk - you are welcome however you get to us. There is a cat and two small dogs that live in the house with us. All are extremly guest friendly. Please note limited access to the kitchen area. Tea and coffee facilities provided in your room.
