2 double rooms @No.10 near SVR Kidderminster

We have 2 lovely light & sunny double bedrooms, 1 with an en-suite shower room, the other with a private bathroom accessed from the landing . We provide a kettle, tea & coffee in the rooms and fresh milk is available. We offer parking for the length of your stay and are situated a short (7 minute) walk from the Kidderminster Severn Valley Railway Station, and just a short drive from the West Midlands Safari Park. There are also several pubs, restaurants and cafes within an easy walk. Our home is a large detached house built in 1929 and we are offering a lovely double bedroom with a small en-suite shower room as well as a 2nd double bedroom which has exclusive use of the main house bathroom adjacent to that bedroom. Both rooms are equipped with a TV. Our home is perfectly situated for people visiting the Severn Valley Steam Railway particularly for the special events such as the 1940's weekends or one of the Murder Mystery Evenings. We are also a 10 minute drive from the West Midlands Safari Park and within an hours drive of other attractions such as the Ironbridge Gorge museums, The Black Country living museum, Warwick Castle and Shakespeare's Stratford. I also let each room individually when not booked together so if you are interested in just 1 of the rooms please see my other listings We have a breakfast room exclusively for our guests where we provide a selection of cereals, fruit and breads for breakfast, we also provide plates, cutlery, glasses etc if you order a takeaway meal. I have a high chair available and numerous toddler toys. We also have a selection of board games for older children. You are also welcome to use our garden. We provide off road parking and can generally arrange for you to drop off your car as early as you like on the first day of your stay, often useful if you have tickets for a Steam train from The Severn Valley Station. If I am available I will happily drop you off at the station,otherwise it is just a short walk from our home. We can offer contactless hosting with ‘lockbox’ access to the property and self service breakfast if that is what you would prefer, although we are happy to interact with our guests but also very happy to leave you to your own devices, however we are always on hand if you require any help or information on the local area. For your added security we now have locks fitted to the bedroom doors. We live in a quiet residential road far enough from the railway to have no train noise but close enough to easily walk there. It is also no more than a 15 minute walk into the centre of town where there is a good range of shops, cafes and restaurants. We are located approximately 25 minutes from the M5 J3, J4 and J6. We are a 7 minute walk from Kidderminster mainline station with a regular train service through to Birmingham and Worcester. There are also several bus stops nearby. If you have your own car we have off road parking on our drive at the front of the house. There are also several local taxi firms and we are happy to help arrange these if required. I can provide a cot in the room if required and other baby/toddler equipment. I am also happy to collect our visitors from Kidderminster station if I am available.
