Ensuite bedroom over a traditional Irish pub in City Centre on the Medival Mile. Smithwick's Experience Tour, Canices Cathedral, Black Abbey Church, minutes away. A local pub in the historic part of the city and a great place to make friends. Old world style accommodation with modern facilities. Our pub has a great beer garden, regular music sessions, Serves Irish stew and sandwiches Monday to Friday. Rooms are over the pub so some noise to be expected especially at weekends and pub is in the city centre. Parking nearby at Dean Street or Abbey Square carpark off Black Mill street, €2 per day. Pass the Pumphouse on your left, take a left at the traffic lights on to Dean Street, as you are driving, parking is on the right side. Private entrance to the accommodation with a shared narrow staircase leading from the 2nd floor to the rooms on the 3rd floor. This room is small with an ensuite. No wardrobe provided but there are clothes hanging facilities. The room is comfortable and quaint. Bed linen is hotel standard. Myself or my husband will meet guests on most occasions, but if we are not available our staff in the bar will provide keys and any information needed. Walking or cycling is the easiest way to access kilkennys narrow street and laneways.
