Yattalunga Homestead is a heritage listed farm only 5 mins from Goulburn city. 10 min drive to Wakefield Park Motor Raceway. 2 hours drive south of Sydney & 1 hour from Canberra Yattalunga Homestead has buildings dating back from 1860. We are a working farm that breeds and competes our Clydesdales horses The farm boasts wonderful old stables 1891 Historic Yattalunga homestead is a beautiful working farm that is close to town and local tourist attractions, Wakefield Raceway. Quiet private setting, picturesque with lots of friendly animals. We are a working farm that breeds, works and competes our Clydesdales horses as well as dorper sheep and cattle. Our chickens, guinea fowl and peacocks are free range, we have many animals including a milking cow, goat, alpaca, pigs, cats, dogs, camels and Charlie the talking cockatoo We also get visiting native wildlife such as cookaburras, possums & kangaroos. There are three guest rooms (1 queen bed and the others both have a double bed). All rooms have their own access via the courtyard. There is a bathroom (shower + toilet) shared between the guest rooms. The guest also have their own kitchenette/laundry (fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave) also use of the BBQ and outdoor seating in the courtyard. There is the option booking one, two or all three guest rooms (1 queen bed and the others both have a double bed). All rooms have their own access via the courtyard. There is a bathroom (shower + toilet) shared between the guest rooms. There is also kitchen/laundry and a BBQ plus outdoor seating in the courtyard for guest use. For farm activities please inquire before your visit, that way we can organise time to give our guests our full attention We live in the main residence. The guest rooms are in a wing ( formerly the servant/worker accomodation )attached to the main Homestead. Guests can be left alone for relaxation and quiet or are welcome to join us with farm activities (please inquire) For farm activities please inquire before your visit, that way we can organise time to give our guests our full attention We have many domestic, farm animals and birds that roam "free range" on our farm. If you suffer from any form of animal allergies, Unfortunately our farm (which is our animals home) may not be a suitable choice for you. the rooms are simply furnished with high quality linens and bedding. Please note we don't have any television in the bedrooms.
