The Rookery Cottage - Newland

The Cottage is a converted stable, the original building is 150 years old. It's been sympathetically converted to provide well equipped comfortable accommodation. There's a private courtyard garden by a brook. The Cottage is centrally heated a combi boiler provides hot water. The cottage is one level. There is a double/twin bedded room & en-suite shower room. APOLOGIES BUT I AM NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCEPT PETS TO STAY IN THE COTTAGE There is a private courtyard garden behind the cottage for the guests use, however they are welcome to use the larger part of the garden over the bridge and help themselves to fresh vegetables that grow in the raised beds. Guests have a private courtyard garden behind the cottage but they are also welcome to access all parts of the garden. I can be contacted via Airbnb or my mobile if guests have any queries or any questions A lovely village, that has a great Church (All Saints, Newland also known as the Cathedral of the Forest). A fab village pub The Ostrich also welcomes dogs. Easy access to the Wye Valley and all it's attractions plus lots of walks on the doorstep. The public transport in the Forest of Dean is not brilliant! So I would recommend visiting with a car, however cycling is also an option and there are many cycle trails throughout the area. The cottage is separate from my home and has its own front and back door. Keys are in the key safe the code is given once bookings are confirmed.
