Full Sized Bedroom in Historic Farmhouse w/a View

This farmhouse is one of the oldest homes in Dundee, NY, in the heart of the Finger Lakes. The home is seated at the top of the Seneca Lake valley, with gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding farm fields. We are 1/2 mile from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, breweries, cideries, distilleries, & beautiful hiking trails. We have a patio off the front of the house- perfect for watching the sunrise, the osprey soar, the cows graze, and a four season view. All are welcome in our home. This is an upstairs bedroom with an attached half bathroom (which is private). There is a newly remodeled (2021) full bathroom on the first floor which is shared amongst you[rselves] and the hosts... photos to come! This is a private room in our full time residence. Please be aware that we have a 120lb Great Dane, Mabel, a 15lb Boston Terrier, Boogie, and a hefty [fluffy] cat whose weight we shall not disclose, Willow. They will all very much be a part of your stay. If big dogs, little dogs, or cats are an issue for you, our home is not the right accommodation for you! Common, shared areas in the house include both a screened-in and glassed-in porch, front porch w/ seating, and a formal and informal dining room. Kelly and Gage are both winemakers at local wineries, and know the area very well. We are happy to make any and all recommendations for different wineries, breweries, distilleries to visit while in the Finger Lakes. We have plenty of wine from our own collection to share, as well! In addition to the beverage industry, we are well-versed in local state parks, waterfall/recreation areas, restaurants, things to see/do, etc. We're also happy to respect guests who are looking for more of a "hands-off" vacation, and can keep to ourselves! We're only a half mile from Route 14, the main road that runs parallel to the west side of Seneca Lake. Less than a mile from Glenora Wine Cellars, O'Begley Distillery, and Fulkerson Winery, a 5 minute drive to Tabora Farm & Winery- an exquisite deli and from-scratch bakery. A 15 minute drive to Watkins Glen State Park, a 20 minute drive to Penn Yan, and a half hour to Geneva. Surrounded by roadside farm stands, flower stands, wineries, breweries, waterfalls, you name it! Set back from the main road, the house is on a gravel road, perfect for morning and evening walks to watch the sun rise and set. We love and respect our home and expect you'll do the same! We do have a Great Dane, Mabel and a cat named Willow who are part of our family. If big dogs and tiny cats aren't your thing, our home may not be the best place for you to stay. This is our full-time residence.
