Old olive press building transformed to a modern loft, which has been totally renovated on 2015 at the picturesque village Sinarades, Corfu. Totally new, second year for rent. Ideal place for relaxing and enjoying country-village life of Corfu, close to the nice beach of Agios Gordios and surrounded by green hills. The building was an old olive press, which has been fully renovated and transformed to a loft with modern standards. The olive press machine is maintained in the house. At the upper floor there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a second one with twin. Every bedroom has its own ceiling fan. During functioning ceiling fans produce a cool and pleasant ambience in the whole house. The ground floor, of 60m2 includes a sitting and a dining place, a well equipped kitchen, and the bathroom. In front of the loft there is a terrace with flowers and plants, a big table and comfortable armchairs, where you can relax and enjoy your meals. Living at the house you can enjoy the quite life of a typical corfiot village, away from noisy and touristic places. The house is located on hillside where Sinarades village is expanding, so it has great views of the surrounding area. The occupancy is 4 people and the minimum stay 5 days. There are two mini markets and two taverns-restaurants, less than 5 min on foot, from the house. At the house and the courtyard. On your arrival we meet you at the air port or port. If you need cleaning services, there would be an extra charge of 20 EURO per time. The first morning after your arrival you will find all the necessary provisions for a self preparing breakfast based on Mediterranean diet (free of charge). Sinarades is a picturesque village declared as traditional settlement, is built on a verdant hill and is situated above the famous Agios Gordis beach. The village was built during Byzantine years. Sinarades present all the features of the local architecture of the Corfiot countryside: Stone houses, roof tiles in the color of ocher, small doors with embossed marbles, and arches on the ground floor of houses. There are 12 churches and a Folklore Museum (furnishings of the houses and objects from rural life of the village since 18th century, are presented). From Aerostato, a place just outside the village, the panoramic view of the verdant coastline is enchanting. There are many wonderful walks in the area which is green and lush with plenty of olive and cypresses trees and wonderful scenery. Around the village there are beautiful hiking paths with panoramic views. Some of them lead to quiet and nice beaches and crystal clear-water small bays at a distance of 2-3 kilometers from the village. Sinarades is an ideal destination for those who wish to discover the Corfiot countryside and its villages. A public bus line connects Sinarades with Agios Gordios beach 5-6 times per day and back. The same bus line connects the village with Corfu town. By car the access to other nice beaches or to the rest of the island, is very easy. Radio-Taxi service is available at the village.
