Walking through gate to a beautiful private patio, La Dolce Vita Bed & Breakfast is a private self-contained suite located at Beechmont in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland. Situated just 8km from World Heritage Listed Lamington National Park and an easy 30 minute drive from the Gold Coast and 60 minutes from Brisbane, we are the perfect destination for your next quiet weekend away. La Dolce Vita is the ideal holiday destination for singles or couples. Guest have access to 3 acres, overlooking beautiful mountains with wildlife. The private self-contained suite features a comfortable queen bed, lounge area, self-contained kitchenette, shower and toilet, along with a sunny outdoor seating area overlooking the picturesque Beechmont hills. Your room rate includes free wifi and a complimentary continental breakfast which includes cereal, toast, yoghurt, fruit and eggs. Our room contains: a microwave, sandwich press, electric frypan, toaster, kettle, egg cooker, coffee machine, clock radio, CD player, TV, DVDs and games. A Baby Weber BBQ is also located on your private patio, ready for outdoor dining whilst watching the sunset and you also have access to your own private fire pit. We can accommodate one extra guest on a trundle bed. Charge is $25 per person/per night. Guests have private external access to the suite, with free car parking. While we do our upmost to respect our guests privacy we are always on hand if you have questions about the local area or need assistance with anything. You can just relax or wander around the beautiful property and along the creek or sit watching the local birdlife and wallabies. Sometimes the hangliders will quietly drift overhead with their colourful sails as you rest on your private verandah with a good book. As night comes you can enjoy sitting around the out door firepit with a nice glass of wine and watching the stars. For the more adventurous there is plenty to offer in the local area. Lush rainforests, ancient trees, spectacular views and extensive walking tracks and exceptional ecological importance make Lamington National Park – Binna Burra Section an outstanding place to visit for walking and bird watching, or relax over lunch or coffee at the newly opened Lamington Tea House. Historic Canungra is only a short (20 minute) drive away and offers visitors a smorgasbord of unique food and wine experiences and an eclectic mix of shops and local markets. Sample local honey and macadamias at the Visitor Information Centre or enjoy a cold beer and counter lunch at the Canungra Hotel. Stop in at the award-winning O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyard for a picnic by the creek (preorder a picnic basket) and to walk an alpaca. Or head to Tamborine Mountain (35 minutes) and enjoy boutique wineries, historic pubs, gift shops, art galleries, rainforest walking trails and waterfalls. You are about 8 kms from Binna Burra which offers lots of walking trails. You are also in walking distance to 2 really nice cafes. You can listen to music, watch the birds from your lounge area, or play games which you will find in your suite.
