Separate from the main house, this spacious apartment is open, airy, bright and comfortably furnished - constructed for easy access by limited mobility persons needing a stair free entry. The kitchenette with sink, microwave, toaster oven, mini-frig and dishes will enable you to fix a quick meal and keep refreshments handy throughout your stay. The large master bath features a barrier free shower and plenty of cupboard space to stow your toiletries. Upon arrival, you'll find fresh fruit, breakfast bars, bottled water, a selection of juice, tea and coffee. Guests have access to the full apartment in complete privacy, as well as a small adjoining outdoor deck with table and chairs. Although a laundry facility is not part of this rental, your hosts can accommodate your laundry needs for a modest courtesy fee of $10. per wash load. Also: For stays longer than two days, guests will be notified of intermittent mid-stay cleaning of the apartment.) On and Off street parking is available. Our neighborhood is McCauly Meadows - a neat, diverse enclave of single family homes 20 miles north of Cincinnati. It's a great, walkable neighborhood full of friendly people. Nearby, Sharon Woods Park offers beautiful walking trails, picnic areas and Nature Center. Also nearby - Trammel Fossil Park hosts scientists from around the globe to explore exposed layers of fossils and study the geological history of the region. We are a mere 10 minutes from Kings Island Amusement Park, The VOA - Voice of America Museum as well as EnterTRAINment Junction - one of the largest indoor displays of model trains in the US. Nearby restaurants, pubs, cinemas, performance theaters, comedy clubs, fitness facilities, shopping centers and more await you - all within an easy car or Uber/Lyft ride. In addition, downtown Cincinnati is just 20-30 minutes south, putting you in easy reach of stadiums, museums, zoo, and historic landmarks such as Fountain Square - the heart of the river city. Rich and Susan are happy to assist in your adventure/vacation plans when visiting the area. Although public transportation is limited in most of the suburbs outside of downtown Cincinnati, there are services such as Uber and Lyft, as well as private cab service that can accommodate anyone needing a ride. Cincinnati Metro Bus service operates a limited schedule from Mason, West Chester, Sharonville, Blue Ash or Montgomery to downtown Cincinnati. An Enterprise Car Rental office is two minutes away, as well as other car rental companies within 10 minutes. Feel like biking? Need to get some miles in before your marathon? The immediate neighborhood is bike/jogger friendly, and the nearby public parks have trails and marked mile posts to measure your distance. Also, nearby town of Loveland invites bikers, joggers and casual strollers to enjoy hundreds of miles of bike trails plus stops for refreshments in the friendly village. Residing in the main house, there are three dogs - Boomer, Bert & Ernie and two cats. They are all "rescues" with amazing stories and very lovable! However, NONE of these animals are allowed access to the apartment.
