Glamping Dome

Our unique, solo-glamping campsite is located on our property (on a remote spot with total privacy), just feet from state land (approx. 9000 acres). From the parking area, it's a short walk (about the length of two football fields) to the site. There is a state access parking area close and hiking trails to the river and to a few waterfalls. Secluded, peaceful, and quiet. Enjoy time hiking or just relaxing by the campfire. Perfect for a couple's weekend getaway. Single dome, with a queen bed and two cots if needed. Five gallons of drinking water is provided. Outdoor kitchen space has a BBQ grill and side burner, dry, secure food storage, and coolers. You will have the entire campsite space to yourself. While we want you to enjoy your undisturbed time at our campsite, know that we can be reached while you are on the property. We will work that out with you prior to your arrival. Our site is less than 3 miles from restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, as well as a Dunkin Donuts. Try Monticello Bagel Bakery (a must for the best bagel around :)) We are less than 30 minutes from the original Woodstock Site! The new Resorts World Casino is less than 10 minutes away as well. Wolf Brook Multiple Use Area - less than 1/4 mile away to parking area for hiking but can also be accessed from our site. Neversink River Unique Area - less than 1 mile away to parking area for hiking but can be accessed from our site. Gotham Mountain ATV Park - 4 miles away Kartrite Indoor Water Park - 5 miles away Resorts World Casino - 5 miles away Bethel Woods - 15.5 miles away Sullivan County Visitors Association - lists many activities to do around the county. Private car transportation works best out by us. However, there is public transportation in Monticello (less than 15 minutes away) with bus service and taxis. Bring clothes and shoes appropriate for camping - cool nights and warmer days. Suggested to bring a robe and slip-on shoes (helps when having to use the bathroom after showers or during the night). Phone charger availability (bring USB cord). There is a bluetooth speaker for your use (download music before you arrive - no Wifi). Our site is completely off-grid and has solar-powered lighting. Showering water is available (an 85-gallon tank with shut off valve for conserving water as you soap up) as outside temperatures allow (not early April and November- December). Please bring paper products, food, and flashlight. Basic spices, coffee, and sugar are available at the site. Feel free to message with any questions.
