The room is very bright and it has a large balcony with a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and the Lattari Mountains. Guests can use the kitchen, the terrace with a sea view and the zen area in the garden. The house is shared with the landlord Vins and other guests. Use of washing machines available for 5 euros (each use). It's really easy to explore the Amalfi Coast from Erchie. From the nearby village Cetara - 20 minutes walking - you can take the ferry (TravelMar) to Amalfi, Positano or Capri. To get to Cetara you can also book a mini cab (2.50€ per person). From the closest town Salerno - 30 minutes by bus - you can easily reach in an hour Naples and the archaeological sites of Paestum, Pompeii and the Volcano Vesuvius. *** Important information before booking, please read carefully: IF YOU COME BY BUS - The only public transportation available is "SITA SUD Trasporti" - The bus stop is not visible from the bus, so please ask the driver for the stop, on time, before ERCHIE: > if you come from Salerno your stop is after Cetara (about 5 minutes). > if you come from Amalfi your stop is after Maiori (about 15/20 minutes). - It's not possible to buy tickets on the bus so you have to buy them before at the tabacchi shop or at the train station. If you planned to visit Amalfi Coast by bus we strongly advise you to buy tickets in Amalfi, Positano or Salerno because you cannot buy them here in Erchie. CAR PARKING There is not a free car parking. In Summer time we strongly recommend you to visit the Coast by bus (SITA) or by ferry (TravelMar). Anyway if you planned to come by car there is a secure locked car park available - Estimated daily car parking fee: > June € 10,00 weekdays / € 15,00 Saturday and Sunday > July € 15,00 weekdays / € 20,00 Saturday and Sunday > August € 20,00 weekdays / € 25,00 Saturday and Sunday > September € 15,00 weekdays / € 20,00 Saturday and Sunday You don’t need to book it, you can do it on the day you arrive. INTERNET ACCESS There is no DSL connection here in Erchie. We only have a smartphone's hotspot with limited gigabytes. Please do not consider this place good for smart working or working remotely. PETS Erchie is the cat's paradise. I was a cat in my past life and still I am in this one. I have three lovely cats inside my house and others in the garden. If you are allergic to them or you don't have a good feeling with cats please book somewhere else :-) Vincenzo will welcome you at home on your arrival. Check-in time is from 12pm (noon) to 8pm and check-out by 10 am.
