Villa Kamelia is a beautiful 4BDR summer retreat, perfect for those seeking a luscious green setting with simple elegance, as well as being just over the beach and to the famous picturesque Pelion villages and trails. A small, almost private, beach, just a 3 min walk down a path, awaits you to immerse into the turquoise Aegean waters, whereas famous Papa-Nero Beach is another 3 min walk away. Villa Kamelia is a beautiful self-catering property, perched on the hill right over famous Papa Nero beach. Together with neighbouring, yet independent: * Villa AZALEA [ hosts 8 guests, you can see it on airbnb] and * Villa MANOLIA [ hosts 2-4 guests, you can see it on airbnb] they form a magic property, with a capacity to host in combination up to 21 guests. Villa Kamelia boasts a stylish living room, an open plan kitchen, four spacious bedrooms (all with ensuite bathrooms) and ambient outdoor space. Layout The main level features the living room with its fireplace and a long dining table along with a fully equipped kitchen. The large veranda offers stunning sea views. One level up there is a bright bedroom, also with ensuite bathroom, and a magic "writer's" corner - enjoying sea view - along with a single sofa bed. The lower level has another three spacious bedrooms, with their en-suite bathrooms. Facilities: TV Air Conditioning Wifi Parking Inhouse laundry & dryer (in coordination with the housekeeper) Mosquito screens on all windows. Experience and enjoy all the villa's indoor and outdoor spaces, ie. sea-view verandas, garden, BBQ and of course the small, almost private, beach below the villa, leading right away first to the famous Papa Nero beach & then to Ai-Giannis beach. Our trusted housekeeper we will be in Pilio to welcome you and show you to the villa. For anything you might need rest assured that we will be available via airbnb/email/phone/sms to make your arrival and stay as smooth as possible, while there is always our local foreman to help you out in a time of need. Mount Pelion (Pilion) is considered one of the MOST beautiful and ecologically pristine mountains Greece has to offer. According to the Greek Mythology, Mt. Pelion was the sanctuary for the Greek Gods during the summer months. Additionally, it was the homeland of the Centaurs, the mythical creatures best known for their half horse/half human shape, and the descendants of Centaurus, son of Apollo. What makes Pelion a unique tourist destination is due to its pristine combination of mountain and coastal scenery and activities waiting to be explored year-round! During the winter season, winter sport enthusiasts can enjoy their favorite sports such as ski, snowboard, horse back riding, and enjoy the unspoiled natural scenery of the native flora such as evergreens, chestnut trees, northern greek maples, as well as a number of endemic species that call Pelion their home. Summer offers an equal amount of activities for the sunbathing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking and horse-back riding enthusiast There is connection with the city of Volos by bus or by taxi. Generally is advised to rent a car in order to enjoy your stay at Pelion area and visit the magnificent beaches and villages. Pelion is a 340 km drive from Athens and 260 km from Thessaloniki. Check Volos airport for direct and/or charter flights from Germany, France, Austria, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Luxemburg and Belgium. The airport is connected to the city of Volos by the Magnesia Intercity Bus. Taxis are also available outside the terminal. In the central hall of the terminal there are car hire agencies including the international companies Hertz, Budget, Avis. PARTIES & EVENTS Parties and events are allowed provided that there has been prior communication with the owner at the time of booking. In this case (i.e. marriage parties, christening parties, bachelor parties) special rates apply (extra charges), which will be given during our upfront communication. CHECK IN / CHECK OUT We will gladly let you check in earlier or check out as late as you wish provided we do not have another booking on your dates :-). If we do however, official check in / check out times should be strictly adhered to. LAUNDRY The washing machine/laundry is for the use of all villas, so it needs to get used in turns. The operating times for the laundry are from 4pm, in the afternoon, onwards, and each villa has access to it every second day, in turns.
