Bed and breakfast in rural, relaxing accommodation
The Fox Cottage B & B is situated in the charming rural village of Willoughby on the Wolds, just 1 mile from the A46 between Nottingham and Leicester. Newark, Melton Mowbray and Loughborough are also within easy reach. A warm and friendly welcome and personal service await you at our sympathetically updated cottage built in 1800. We pride ourselves on getting your day off to a good start with a tasty cooked or continental breakfast; and all dietary needs can be catered for on request. We also offer horse DIY B&B for up to 3 horses. If you are competing or at a training clinic nearby, why not stay with us with your horse in one of our stables just a few yards further down our drive. Guests have their own suite comprising of a large, bright and airy bedroom, a shower room and a separate sitting room where breakfast is served. This suite has it's own access door and there is off-road parking for up to two cars. We live on site, so we are generally available at all times. We prefer check in to be between 4pm and 8pm on your arrival date, unless an alternative time is agreed by prior arrangement. We ask that you vacate your room by 11am on your day of departure. In the East Midlands we have many beautiful stately homes such as Belvoir Castle, Chatsworth House, Calke Abbey, Grimsthorpe Castle and Haddon Hall. There are also several historical places of interest including The Richard III Museum in Leicester, The Tales of Robin Hood in Nottingham, The Castle in Newark and The Cathedral in Lincoln. Or how about visiting Rutland Water for walking, cycling and water sports; the Derbyshire Dales for spectacular walking, horse riding and cycling; The Great Central Steam Railway in Loughborough; Twin Lakes Children's Theme Park in Melton Mowbray; or The National Space Centre in Leicester
