In clear driving conditions, it should take about 10 hours from Calais to the Luberon. From outside Europe, if you fly to Paris CDG airport, you can get a connecting flight to Marseille (1 hour) or get the TGV fast train to Avignon or Aix (2hrs 40 mins) There is virtually no public transport in Provence - car hire is essential
