Located in the heart of Brittany in the village of Gomené, Côtes-D'Armor, all three gites are fully renovated and well appointed traditional Breton stone cottages with features such as exposed stone walls and beams. Thery are located in a tranquil rural setting. MERLIN COTTAGE is the largest and accomodates up to 7 people. This offers spacious, high quality accommodation consisting of a downstairs large open plan kitchen , dining and living area which is ideal to accomodate all in your party for communal dining and shared time together.A spiral stair case leads to the giving access to three comfortable bedrooms and shower room with WC. The master bedroom, with 4-poster double bed, has views over the courtyard and gardens, the second bedroom with views over fields and woodlands ,has a double bed and the third has a single bed and set of single bunks. NIGHTINGALE COTTAGE - offers accomodation for 4 people in 2 bedrooms - with the flexibility of a sofa bed downstairs should a separate bed be required. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen , dining and living area and upstairs the master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom a set of single bunks. WREN COTTAGE - is a cute little cottage for two .Downstairs is an open plan kitchen , living area and upstairs an ensuite bedroom with french sleigh bed. Beautiful rural setting but accessible from St. Malo and Caen ferries (1h15 and 2h25 respectively) and Dinard and Rennes airports (1h20 and 50 minutes respectively). We are within easy reach of historic towns such as Josselin and Moncontour, Brocéliande the legendary Arthurian forest at Paimpont and beaches are within an hours drive . Ideal location for sightseeing, birdwatching, walking, cycling, or just relaxing. The gites are within the grounds of our former farmhouse and bakery and whilst you will have full access to over an acre of stunning gardens with countryside and forest views each gite also benefits from its own private seating and BBQ area. Our heated swimming pool is also available for your use (Summer Season Only CLOSED OCTOBER TO 1st MAY) and if you are taking up all three cottages you have exclusive use of it. We are 1h15 and 2h25 respectively from St. Malo and Caen ferries and 1h20 and 50 minutes respectively from Dinard and Rennes airports. The village of Gomene has a Pub tabac and Sunday market and the neighbouring village of Meneac ( 2 minutes drive away ) has a village store , Boulagerie for your bread , cakes and fresh croissants , Tabac bar , Pub .Pizzeria and Tuesday market. Ideal location for sightseeing, birdwatching, walking, cycling, or just relaxing. We live on sight so are to offer you as much or as little help and advice as you require. We are located just outside the friendly village of Gomene. The village of has a Pub tabac and Sunday market and the neighbouring village of Meneac ( 2 minutes drive away ) has a village store , Boulagerie for your bread , cakes and fresh croissants , Tabac bar , Pub .Pizzeria and Tuesday market.The village pub hosts live music events most weeks and in June the village hosts the Gomene Jazz festival. The village and local area is set in beautiful unspoilt countryside and is criss crossed by over 45kms of walking and cycle tracks. We are centrally located and ideal for visiting the coastlines and attractions of Brittany. The area is rich in culture . Car is essential.
