In the garden there is parking for 2 cars but you can also leave bigger cars in the main square of the village. From here you reach the motorway in less than 5 minutes. There are 10 min.by car to Stresa centre or the railway station where you can find a convenient taxi service. On the first floor lies the owner's appartment. We will be delighted to help you organize trips to special places like the mountain from where you can see( on a clear) day 7 lakes!!Or one of the most incredible libraries holding volumes including Bibles from the 16th c.Or the very relaxing and modern thermal swimming pool close to the famous Walser villages near the Swiss mountains or boattrips to the Borromeo islands... and the lively street markets in Stresa or Arona and all the other nearby towns! Should you enjoy the museums or the shopping Milano has to offer,it only takes one hour to get there . Only a narrow wall lined road with wonderful views links us in 5 minutes to the village centre.Magognino is still a living comunity with its village church and,on special occasions, local barbecues and musical evenings. . Stresa's beaches and restaurants are at 10 min drive .They are famous all over the world. Plenty other sports can be practiced here! The 3 Borromeo islands and other splendid parks make it the Botanic Gardens of Italy!! The access to two loved golf clubs in less than 10 min distance and the quick access to the motorway give lots of possibilities for planning your day! There is a taxi service available from and to Stresa train station. There are several international and national trains every day! We are not in the centre of town so having a car is vital.
