Secluded and quiet with access to Loddon State Forest, it’s only a 12 minute drive to all the attractions of Daylesford. A private getaway for couples or a fun location to enjoy with a group of friends. The home is also child friendly with sand pit and trampoline. Visit the chooks and pat the mini pony and alpacas, whilst being surrounded by native wildlife. This architecturally designed home features a unique Gabion Wall facade that settles beautifully into the landscape. Furnished by the Interior Designer owner, the home's monochromatic palette allows the view to be the hero through full height glass. Dine with a view on the outdoor deck with wood fired oven or cosy up by the indoor fire. Pack a picnic basket to enjoy under a shady tree or spread out on the expansive green lawn. Observe the many kangaroos, listen to the kookaburras and see if you can spot the elusive echidnas and deer! NOT suitable for pets as there are Alpaccas and ponies on the property that are NOT DOG FRIENDLY! This property is also available for photo shoots. The house is minutes away from the licensed Glenlyon General Store for breakfast supplies, coffee or a meal. Various wineries close by such as Fontanella for cellar door tasting. Wifi: (Gabion Hill) no password required. Landline internet can be slow and intermittent due to country network. Please bring your own phone chargers. COFFEE There is an ESPRESSO coffee machine provided. Please bring own whole coffee beans. FIREWOOD If using the open fire it is recommended to bring a starter pack of fire wood from a service station on the way. Enough wood is provided for 2 nights, anymore than that needs to be provided by the guest, incl additional wood for the pizza oven. Local providers/delivery can be found nearby. HEATING/COOLING There is a split system air conditioner in the main living area but not in the bedrooms. Electric blankets are provided for the K and Q bed and hot water bottles for the singles. There are exterior blinds along the entire North facing facade including main bedroom, all other bedrooms are south facing and have no curtains or blinds.
