Country living at its best, 300 yr old shared farmhouse with swimming pool boasting an abundance of charm, character and unobstructed panoramic views from a large terrace. Enjoy a tranquil breakfast from the terrace or a glass of wine to watch the sun set. The swimming pool & sun deck area has been integrated with the old charm of the house creating a unique setting. The house is situated close to the airport so perfect if you have a late/early flight. Parking in Malta can be a bit of hassle in general as we have many cars on the road but I can guarantee you that you will always find a parking space very close to my place. It's also free of charge. If you do rent a car I can send you the location. Please make sure to drive on the left hand side just like in the UK. For those that don't want to hire a car, I can do an airport pick up/ drop off outside office hours only. Happy to show you where to find the bus stop and the closest grocery store. I have two double rooms on offer. One is cosy with queen size bed with an ensuite shower and AC, the other is larger with two single beds and private new luxury bathroom no AC fan only, both very comfortable. During your stay you are welcome to use swimming pool, outdoor shower, sunbeds, barbecue until 21.00 all amenities have to be cleaned after use. The terrace may be used 24 hrs while respecting others. Lastly we do have two cats and as for further description of my space I'll let the photos do the talking Breakfast You will be provided with a selection of hams, cheeses, jams and fresh bread along with teas, coffee and milk. Please help yourselves. A fridge is available in case you would like to store anything. We have a pool area and a beautiful terrace equipped with luxury outdoor furniture and sunbeds, what could be nicer than enjoying the sun go down with a glass of wine! Smoking is not permitted inside the house however smoking is allowed on the terrace. Parking in our area is free of charge. You are always able to contact me 24/ 7 in cases of emergency, however my father lives in an adjoining part of the property so should the need arise he will be more than willing to help Għaxaq (Maltese: Ħal Għaxaq, is a village in the Southern Region of Malta, with a population of 4,722 people as of March 2014. It is mainly a residential area surrounded by land used for agricultural purposes. The village's name is probably related to the noble family named Axiaq which had feudal lands in the area in the fourteenth century, or it may be derived from the Maltese word meaning delight. The village's main church is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary, popularly known in Maltese as Santa Marija, which is therefore the village's patron saint. Celebrations take place annually from 30 July to 15 August. A secondary feast is celebrated on the week before the first Sunday of June. This is dedicated to Saint Joseph, husband of Mary. During these feasts the village is decorated with highly artistic statues and colourful lights and banners. The bus stop is about 5 minutes away. A short ride will take you to Valletta. Malta’s capital city is situated close to Ghaxaq. If I am available I am more than willing to collect you and take you to the airport. I am happy to provide you a list of locations to visit in Malta. In the evening I’d like to suggest that you relax on a sun bed or outdoor sofa enjoying a glass of wine, it’s very comforting to look at the stars in the clear Maltese sky. The area is surrounded by farm fields so it’s very tranquil.
