The Old Drugstore

The Old Drugstore is a C15th Tudor Townhouse which my daughter has often referred to as the “Magic House'. Though now it has all the features to make it warm and comfortable, it still has a Tudor feel though with high ceilings and generously sized rooms. We have called it an 'Art House' because most of the rooms are styled with art pieces and an aesthetic appeal which we hope guests will enjoy. The house is quirky and engaging and upon arrival everyone who has stayed has said how quickly they were able relax...a new feature is a three person Swedish sauna which is free to use. Guests will have access to the whole house, garden and the two person sauna. Myself or a friend will be around if there are any issues. Axbridge is an old medieval town that was on the trading route from Cornwall to London, off the beaten track, it still boasts three local pubs and a tea shop, all serving great food. It is a great location for exploring the Mendip Hills, the Somerset Levels and beyond Axbridge is an hour from Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and Wells and only 40 mins from Glastonbury. You can also walk or cyle over the Mendips Hills to Cheddar Gorge with wonderful views over the Somerset Levels
