Entire lodge in the picturesque village of Alrewas, Derbyshire. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene property. Ideally located as there are many great attractions including The National Memorial Arboretum, Lichfield City, Peak District and Cannock Chase. The lodge has level access and facilities for less able guests. It features one kingsize bedroom with en-suite and one single bedroom. The open plan kitchen/living room has vaulted ceiling and opens onto the patio area with seating. The Lodge is light and spacious, offering homely, comfortable accommodation with easy access. The sky lights bathe the space in light & serenity. Facilities include fully fitted kitchen, relaxing lounge, peaceful king size bedroom, additional bedroom, all offering simple comfortable, away from it all surroundings. Outside, relax on the secluded patio or on the swing bench in the private garden. There is also a chiminea for your use on those chiller evenings. The village of Alrewas is mainly on even ground which makes it an enjoyable walk out. Along the way the local shop, canal system and local parks and Mill stream can be visited, along with the village cafe on main street. We have private off street parking so your car can be left behind, along with any stress or worries. We give our guests space and privacy all during their stay, but also welcome contact from guests when they need to… Our village and local area can often have events happening, so, I may send a little message with information that may be of interest during their stay. Alrewas is a wonderful ancient village set on the borders of Staffordshire and Derbyshire. There are many old interesting buildings nestled in the canal system. It boasts three pubs, a cafe, traditional butcher, local Coop, chemist, Post office, fish & chip shop, Chinese takeaway and Indian restaurant. Close by there is The National Memorial Arboretum, Drayton Manor with the popular Thomas Land attraction, Alton Towers, Alrewas Hayes, Hanbury Hall & The Catton Estate. It is an ideal location for traveling to further destinations, with excellent train links in near by Lichfield City. Alrewas is easily navigated either on foot, cycling or by car. There is on street parking as well as private parking at the Lodge. There is a local bus service and a train stations at near by Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent & Tamworth. We are a very new venture to Airbnb and therefore, we are still in the process of improving what we feel is already an excellent space. amongst these improvements is suitable fencing between us and the Lodge. We have got a 1 year old puppy but training is going well, although her curiosity can get the better of her, she is taking to training quite well. I am explaining all of this for the benefit of those who are not keen on animals and to be honest and up front. Please be assured you will hardly know she is there.
