Please contact us with any questions. The cottage sits in the upper part of the old village in a lovely, quiet and friendly neighbourhood. It has a well kept south facing and secure front garden with trampoline and picnic table. Inside, the ground floor is semi open plan. Lounge with original inglenook fireplace and a gas stove leads to dining room with table to seat 4 people. Two steps lead up to compact but fully functioning kitchen with Belfast sink, double oven and fridge. The hallway leads to bathroom with slipper bath. There is plenty of hanging space for coats and jackets in the hall, which leads on to the boot room and back door to the shed and back garden. The back garden is at first floor level up some steps which are quite steep. There is a washing line, brick bbq and more outdoor seating. Please note that the neighbours have right of way to walk across this area. In the shed there is a washer drier, childrens' booster seats, potty and a buggy. Upstairs are the bedrooms - double bed and wardrobe to the front, kids room with bunk beds to the back. The boiler cupboard is also in the back bedroom. Llanfairfechan sits on the boundary to Snowdonia National Park/Parc Genedlaethol Eryri, and is approx 30 minutes away from Llanberis, Betws Y Coed, the beautiful Conwy Valley and Beaumaris among many other destinations. Zip World Penrhyn Quarry, Zip World Betws-Y-Coed, Surf Snowdonia and Bounce Below are all popular destinations for many of our Airbnb'ers. Llanfairfechan itself has numerous beautiful walks and the location of the cottage means you are a short walk away from both the mountains and the sea. There is a beautiful beach with sandy areas, a wildlife reserve, stunning views across to Angelsey and Puffin Island as well as the Great Orme. We as a family regularly use the cottage so, whilst we're located elsewhere, family and friends are on hand for anything you may need. The village has plenty of interesting shops from haberdashery and crafts, to convenience stores, newsagents and a beauty salon. There is a medical practice and pharmacy, vets and barbershop. There are several pubs, takeaways and places to eat. There is also a gated swing park opposite the cottage and a 9 hole parkland golf course and clubhouse a short walk away. Llanfairfechan has bus stops for all major destinations approx 15 mins walk from the cottage, and a train station approx 25 mins walk away. Currently we ask all guests to strip the beds and place bedding along with used towels in a laundry bag which will be provided. Please adhere to local advice on social distancing/mask etiquette which may differ from that in your own area. Please be mindful of our neighbours when staying at the cottage. They are our friends and we'd like to keep it that way! Pets are welcome but please keep them off the furniture. At least when you're looking. Please keep the house clean and tidy during your stay. Please supervise small children - especially around the back steps and the gas stove. Please explore as much as you can - Llanfairfechan and the surrounding area have so much to offer.
