A perfect hideaway for two situated in a peaceful and picturesque part of the countryside within easy reach of both the coast and Framlingham. Tucked away off a quiet lane, the charming Woodland Retreat Lodge is a first floor cosy hideaway, which has been furnished for comfortable living for those wishing to escape for some peace and tranquillity. The living space is open-plan with a king-size bed in the bedroom, an en-suite shower room and a small kitchen. There is parking available. There is livery available for two horses, please let Suffolk Hideaways know if you are interested in this. The Woodland Retreat Shepherd's Hut is situated near the Lodge and can be booked at the same time. Additional Information Sorry, no pets. Kitchen With countertop electric oven and hob and fridge with small icebox. Bedroom With a king-size bed. En-suite bathroom With a walk-in shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: Outside staircase leads to front door. Barbecue available There is a table and two chairs on the balcony at the top of the stairs. Brundish is located a short drive away from a number of picturesque villages and towns including Framlingham, Badingham and Earl Soham. If you enjoy walking there are numerous paths in the area or head over to the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. RSPB Minsmere is near Dunwich and there are lots of opportunities for wildlife watching while exploring the heathland on foot. There are also a number of cycling routes in the area to take you further afield, Suffolk Cycle Hire can help with bikes if you are interested. Framlingham is a short drive from Brundish and well worth a visit. The market place has a number of independent shops and a busy market held on Saturdays and Tuesdays. The Castle is a wonderful site to visit and there are a number of events on throughout the year. Leo's Deli has lots of tasty treats if you fancy a picnic or head to The Dancing Goat for a hot chocolate while you watch the world go by in the market square. There are a number of good pubs in the area which are worth a visit. Try the Queen in Dennington or The White Horse in Badingham for home cooked food made with local produce. At the end of the day you can return to the very peaceful setting of the Woodland Retreat Lodge to relax and enjoy the countryside setting and comforts the property affords.
