Italian cottage with Olive trees

Cottage in the heart of the countryside. A few km from the italian capital, this cottage is ideal to relax amongst the roman hills. For who is travelling, who is visiting Rome or who just wishes to relax. This pretty italian cottage can be found in the heart of the peaceful roman countryside. The cottage is decorated with special care and has few antique pieces and ceilings are with wooden beams. Although having a car is recommended, the centre of Rome can be reached by bus and train (or bus and underground) in approximately an hour. Typical villages like ancient Calcata and Sacrofano can be reached by car. Calcata is a very old village in the beautiful Natural Regional Park of Valle Treja -a stunning Park with shaded valleys - 15 km. from the cottage. The beautiful lakes Bracciano and Trevignano are also both at the same distance and one can go swimming or boating there and have some good food in the fish restaurants around the lakes. Other typical roman food restaurants can be found in the nearby villages of Sacrofano, Campagnano (both 3 km. away) or Formello (8 km). The cottage can sleep 4 people, has a nice dining corner and a big lounge with a lot of light and is furnished with a convertible sofa which sleeps 2 people, 26”TV, WIFI, autonomous heating open kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher and cooking equipment as well as table furnishings, and a small fridge and freezer. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom is equipped with a shower and has light from a skylight. Bed linen, towels are there at your disposal. The outside terrace is perfect to sit out and relax (and stargaze) in the warm summer nights and is equipped a dining table and chairs with a small mobile barbecue and 3 steps take you into a lawn with olive trees (private garden) where your dog can run as it is fenced all around. Dogs (small and medium size) are welcomed if well behaved. Off road parking space for one car. There is an adjacent cottage (sleeps 3 people) very similar to this one if you are wanting to come in a bigger group. This is the perfect place to relax after a day in the hectic Rome. Full access to the whole cottage and private garden My guests will have their own space but I will be available to help any time it is needed. Italian, english and french spoken. Spanish understood. In the middle of the countryside. Very peaceful Having a car is recommended but there is a cotral bus 10 min walk away. Rome can be reached in 1h with public transport
