The Beach Hut

Light and breezy room with en suite bathroom, shower room and a kitchenette. Stroll down to the sea on the walkway and take your pick between relaxing on the wooden decking or the beach! Ideally located on the glamorous Sandbanks peninsula, the beach house is a stones throw away from Rick Stein’s exclusive restaurant with views overlooking the harbour. Take a stroll down to sandbanks beach where you will find iconic beach huts, volley ball pitches and sandy beaches. Enjoy access to a private beach leading down to the sea. Take a nap on the sun loungers, the whole of the bottom floor is free for you to roam! I would love to hear your plans and to help you organise your stay with us, I am always available to provide suggestions and tips of course! I live in London however my lovely mother is always happy to pop her head around the door for a greet and chat - she makes a mean lemon drizzle cake if you get on her good side! You will always be welcomed personally to the house either by my mother or her partner Nick. The beach hut is located in the tranquil backdrop of Poole harbour and a short walk to Poole Bay and its blue flag beaches. A short chain ferry whisks you over to the Jurassic Coast with its great selection of pubs, walks and National Trust beaches. The Studland beer festival takes place every August and is hosted by the Bankes Arms Pub, easily reachable by both bus and boat! Head down to the Pig on the Beach in Studland and enjoy a Mojito with fresh mint from their herb garden. Brown Sea Island, home of the famous red squirrel, is just a short boat ride away and perfect for a heathland stroll. Complimentary off road parking is available for one vehicle. The area is discoverable on foot or by bicycle which you can rent locally. Please note that the kitchenette has cooking facilities such as a microwave, George Foreman and a toaster. There is a kettle and an oven with a hob on top for cooking. There is a heater in the wardrobe which also has a cool mode for warmer evenings. There are also spare sheets, cushions and blankets in the cupboard if you want to take any onto the beach with you one evening. If you would like a beach towel please just ask, we have loads in the main house which we can give to you and save space in your suitcase! We have garden furniture and a firepit for you to enjoy as well as sun loungers. If the weather is cooler we have a table and chairs indoors for you too.
