Saddlery is stunning Victorian cottage dating from 1860 which sits in an idyllic garden setting. It has been modernised and equipped to a very high standard and offers guest every modern luxury whilst still retaining the character and charm of a period cottage. Suitable for up to 5 guests. Located in a stunning South facing two acre private garden setting, within easy walking distance of the picturesque town of Melrose with its historic Abbey and range of restaurants. Saddlery cottage is not overlooked and has private parking, a patio, a BBQ and garden furniture. Saddlery cottage is furnished and equipped to a very high standard offering guests every modern comfort. Pets are welcome by arrangement. The cottage is less than a mile from Tweedbank station with regular direct trains to Edinburgh. Saddlery cottage is located at the end of a private driveway with south facing views onto landscaped gardens. There is parking for up to 4 cars and the patio in front of the cottage is equipped with garden furniture and BBQ. We prefer to leave our guests in peace to enjoy their stay but we are always available to help with any queries, issues or local advice during your stay. Melrose is a beautiful Scottish town with lots to see and do, the house is walking distance from the town centre. Melrose has great range of local pubs, shops, restaurants and cafes to enjoy which are noted for the very high quality and service they offer. A car is very useful for exploring the wider area of the Scottish Borders. There are also many beautiful, hill, forest and river walks in the area. There is also now direct train service to Edinburgh every 30 minutes. Tweedbank station is less than a mile from Saddlery cottage. The cottage has free high speed broadband WiFi. The TV has Freeview anda wide range of SKY channels.
