The Olive Branch

We are a sweet little town just 5 minutes south of the Hamilton airport. Close to Mystery Creek events centre, Airport and The Windy Ridge Wedding Venue. We are 10 minutes away from Te Awamutu which has events centres and shops as well as some awesome little cafes and restaurants. Our accommodation has been designed in such a way that it can cater for luxury weekends away but also business trips, wedding stays and just a special night away with loved ones! We can cater for whatever you’re after The space itself is fully self contained with kitchen, bathroom/chemical toilet. As the name suggests it’s a branch so the space is connected to the main house via the deck but there are plenty of spaces for privacy. You are more than welcome to use our outdoor entertainment space, bbq etc and pool in summer. You are welcome to use our deck space and the bbq, use the pool or go for a play on the playground :) Spa Pool is available on request We are happy to interact with you during your stay or to leave you to yourselves. If you need anything then we are just a txt or knock on the door away. We have two small children on the property but will keep them away for you to enjoy the most of your stay! They are very polite though and will say hi if they see you. We live in a beautiful community here in Ohaupo. We are perfectly situated just out of the busyness of Hamilton while being super close to The Hamilton Airport, Mystery Creek, Te Awamutu Events Centre and Lake Karapiro. Te Awamutu provides some simple entertainment and opportunities for eating out or a bit of shopping 🛍 There is a bus that leaves a few times a day from the Main Street that goes into Hamilton and Te Awamutu. Also Taxis close by. If you are bringing your own car then please park on the road or the front lawn. We are also available on occasion as an ‘uber’ service if you get stuck. We are still improving the space so as time goes on more things will be added. Please leave suggestions if you have any. There is also an honesty box for snacks and drinks. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolates are in the kitchen and you are welcome to use the soda stream machine. If you’re purchasing snacks from the box please place coins in the draw or a fee will be added at the end of your stay. We also have spare toiletries available for purchase; i.e Shampoos, Soaps, Toothbrushes etc Please do not arrive on the property with extra visitors if not prior arranged. We have small children on the property that we need to put first and keep safe. This space is designed as a peaceful place to stay, not somewhere for you to host a party or gathering. Thanks
