In Orwell village, about a five minute drive away, there is a shop/post office, hairdressers and The Chequers public house. The number 75 bus delivers a Monday to Saturday service to Cambridge from a bus stop approximately 500 yards from the bungalow. The nearest railway stations are Meldreth at about 5.3km away, Shepreth is 5.5km away, Royston is 8km away and Cambridge is 14.9 km away.
