COOK UP A STORM The original ticket office is now a chefs kitchen with every possible convenience: coffee machine, sandwich press, induction stove, pots & pans, crockery and cutlery for all! R&R Relax in the lounge, the courtyard, the little book room, and the kitchen garden. And the platform – at just under 100m long – will give you plenty of space to relax or dine. WORK or PLAY The board/games room can be set for work or play. For professional retreats the room can be set up in a boardroom or U-shape style to accommodate up to 12 The Station is available as run-of-house accommodation to give you the freedom to enjoy the space and coordinate your own activities and catering. Alternatively, a concierge service can be provided. In consultation we can design the ultimate escape for your group, and then deliver your experience seamlessly. A service fee of 20% will be applied to all bookings through the concierge. We think that you'll be surprised at just how much Kapunda has to offer. In addition to being only a short drive to the world renowned wine regions of the Barossa and Clare Valleys, the local area is worth exploring. Book a tour of ANLABY STATION - a historic sheep station that has been lovingly restored including 20 acres of manicured gardens. Explore the RETAIL outlets in the main street: homewares at KOCO HOME, plants and pots from PLANT POT & MORE, gifts and more at TINY NEST ART & CULTURE plays a big role in Kapunda. Wander the streets to look at the award winning street murals and visit the regional gallery to pick up a piece or two. If you are more serious about your creativity, enrol in a workshop to paint BLOOMS with Jacqueline Coates. You will need to book ahead - and hope that she is in town at the time and not in residence in Paris! Of course - it's not far to other creative and culinary experiences: Learn the in's and outs of Italian cooking from renowned chef Mattea Carboni at CASA CARBONI in Angaston Indulge in wine tasting at any number of wineries - ALKINA is one of our favourites for outstanding grenache Spend some time at Seppeltsfield - not just enjoying the wine but exploring the gallery and the artisan workshops. And if you'd rather stay at The Station there are bespoke experiences that we can bring to you... A WINE MASTERCLASS exploring the best of the Barossa and/or Clare Valleys. Jane Ferrari will tailor an experience to your group and you will leave knowing things you never knew about wine! A WELLNESS & YOGA retreat to balance out the wine and food! A PERSONAL CHEF can be arranged to prepare meals for you to cook, or to cook for you. Our partners at COOPERS FRESH can arrange a pantry fill of the freshest ingredients for brunch, lunch or grazing platters. Your own car is the best way to explore the surrounds. There is plenty of parking at The Station.
