The 1879 Stone House

This artfully revitalized stone house built on the cusp of the US migration to the west in 1879 is ready to host your Flint Hills Get-A-Way! With 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths the 1879 Stone House will sleep up to 8 guests. This guesthouse is fully furnished and appointed with the latest in modern conveniences and furnishings. Take a look around at this place . . . original native limestone walls . . . seasoned oak floors, tall ceilings and old-time character . Parties and events not allowed The 1879 Stone House has a wonderful screened in back patio with a fireplace, couches and a large outdoor dining room set. There is a wonderful firepit in the backyard for the guests use. The guests have access to everything in the home We ask that the guests contact us 20 minutes before we arrive and we will unlock the door for them. If they need anything we live 4 blocks away. This is a residential neighborhood and within walking distance of the historic downtown area. You can park on the street in front of the guest home or on the driveway. There is a bedroom and bath downstairs with a queen size bed Upstairs there is a bedroom with a queen bed The other bedroom upstairs has two full size beds The upstairs bathroom is accessible from the hallway between the two bedrooms; you do not have to go through someone's bedroom to get to the upstairs bathroom. There is a 1/2 bath downstairs so no need to go through downstairs bedroom to use the bath. No events or parties allowed please.
