Dunkeld. The Garden Room

A new self-contained studio in a beautiful, quiet area of Dunkeld, 5 minutes walk to centre.  Private access, ensuite shower-room, and sitting area with wood-burning stove. 4G. Doors open onto the private patio looking over the garden to Birnam Hill. Access to kitchenette with kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave grill - although Dunkeld has many wonderful eateries. Tea & coffee provided. Fabulous walks, bike trails and scenery on the doorstep. Perfect for adventures or a peaceful escape. The wood-burning is the focal point of the room with cosy seating and views to the garden and Birnam Hill. A quirky shower-room, bespoke furniture, wooden floor and individual artwork give the room a modern arty vibe. There is private access from the patio. The kitchenette area is in a shared space. We use this room from time to time for storage - the cooking facilities are for guest use only. Please note we are unable to accommodate early or late check-in and check-out. We live next to The Garden Room and will be available mornings and evenings to help with any enquiries. We can give suggestions for local walks, places to eat, fishing etc. We speak French, Spanish and Italian. Please note: We use the kitchenette area from time to time (for storage) but the cooking facilities are for guest use only. Dunkeld is a beautiful and popular village in the heart of Highland Perthshire renowned for its stunning scenery. The area is full of fantastic walks, mountain bike trails (hire available in the village), rivers and lochs for fishing and watersports, a stunning golf course, top class fishing, arts venues and more. The village boasts a host of fantastic shops; delis, wine bar, whisky shop, galleries, cafes and restaurants - all within 5 minutes walk. The main train line stops at "Dunkeld and Birnam" and the station is approx. a 15 minute walk to The Garden Room. There are also national and local buses to and from the village. Very easily accessible if driving as Dunkeld is right off the A9 - main road north. There is private off road parking. Please note we are up a short but steep hill from the village - it seems to get steeper after a visit to one of the local pubs or restaurants! Logs supplied.
