LOVELY BRICK COTTAGE

In the midst of a peaceful leafy landscape on the east side of Melbourne, my 4 bedroom brick cottage enjoys a picturesque setting surrounded by parklands and stunning views of the nearby hills. There is one bedroom available for one guest. My comfortable 4-bedroom house and a large garden are shared only with my loveable dog, Jakie - a labradoodle. There is a 7 min walk to transport and a large shopping centre with shops, cafes, restaurants and a cinema. The location is close to tourist attractions (10 min drive to Yarra Valley wineries, 15 min drive to Dandenong Ranges, 30 min to Healesville). A beautiful Lilydale Lake Park with a beach and swimming area is 10 min drive (also 3 swimming pools are 5-10 min drive away). There is one bedroom available for one guest: the guest room has a single bed, TV and a PC. When I am away guests can have all the house for themselves. My guests have access to almost everything: the lounge room, TV sets, PC, WiFi, kitchen with all utensils, dining area, washing machine, car parking, bikes, large garden, pergola and patio with all facilities, such as two barbecue grills, outdoor sofa, tables, chairs and deck chairs . As an avid traveller myself I am also able to organize itineraries, trips and excursions for guests. * One guest bedroom with a built-in wardrobe, a single bed, TV and PC. There is also a separate bathroom with a bathtub and shower + separate toilet * Lounge room with 65” Sony Bravia TV, HiFi, DVD player (hundreds of movies free to watch) and PC (23” monitor, 2 printers, scanner, photocopier and fax) * Kitchen with a breakfast bar, cooker, fridge and dishwasher (also microwave oven, kettle, toaster, grill, blender, coffee machine, juicer, etc) * Laundry with a high-end Asko washing machine and a drier * Ducting heating in every room and air conditioning in the lounge room * Large size garden (about 1000 square metres) * Two paved outdoor areas on both sides of the house: pergola and patio with 2 outdoor tables + chairs and 2 barbecues (charcoal kettle and gas) and sofa * Extra storage area in a workshop (2 bikes + helmets free to use) * Two-cars carport and extra parking area in the driveway * Public transport: Chirnside Park Shopping Centre bus station – 7 min walk; Mooroolbark train station - 5 min drive * Four shopping centres nearby: Chirnside Park – 7 min walk; Eastland – 10 min drive, Knox – 15 min drive; Chase – 20 min drive * Tourist attractions: closest Yarra Valley vineyard - 10 min drive; Dandenong Ranges - 15 min drive; City – 40 min drive; St Kilda Beach - 40 min drive; Healesville - 30 min drive; Warburton - 40 min drive; Phillip Island – 1 h drive; Mornington Peninsula – 1 h drive; Great Ocean Rd – 2 h drive I interact and assist my guests a lot. I treat them like family members. I provide them with all tourist information in regards to Melbourne, Victoria and Australia (including travel tips, maps and guides). I may even cook them a meal and take them for a day trip (for a special request) ... The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and safe. A bit of a country look (not far from Yarra Valley vineyards) with a large park just around the corner. Public transport: Chirnside Park Shopping Centre bus station – 7 min walk; Mooroolbark train station - 5 min drive. Free parking around the house. I am not supplying breakfasts, only a kitchen with all devices, cookware and utensils, also spices and sauces. There is free coffee (Nescafe), tea (many types), sugar and milk.
