The Dairy - Brecon Beacons

The Dairy is a luxury 5 star cottage designed just for couples. Set in the grounds of a Grade 2* Georgian Mansion it comes with a large private enclosed garden perfect for dog lovers. The Dairy is a very pretty, cosy cottage, with exposed timbers, soft toned walls and touches of warm crimson and green. From the cobbled courtyard you walk into your private covered entrance way into an open-plan living area with an underfloor heated flagstone floor and Charnwood wood burning stove (there is an unlimited supply of kindling and logs) a comfortable sofa and chair with a Smart TV, Blu- Ray Player (also plays DVD’s and CD’s), Wi-Fi and books and magazines are provided for your enjoyment. Adjacent to the seating area is the contemporary kitchen with its granite worktops, Neff electric oven, gas hob and other essentials for a comfortable stay. There are two soft dining chairs and a bistro table adjacent to one of the window seats overlooking the courtyard. At the top of the stairs is an attractive landing with an elegant crimson chaise longue, a mirror, dressing table and chair. In the adjacent bedroom, with its high ceiling, exposed beams and a natural stone wall, the rich reds and greens are continued in the colour of the leather bedhead, cover and cushions of a very comfortable super-king bed. There is a large, luxurious bathroom with a double ended bath – with headrests, a 'wet room' style shower, heated towel rail and a large basin. Outside the cottage is a large private, enclosed, garden with a lawn and mature trees and shrubs – a lovely setting in which to enjoy an alfresco meal on the patio. The Dairy is in a beautiful setting. With walks from the cottage door up onto the peaks of the Brecon Beacons or strolling along the canal there are walks for all abilities. And after an energetic day, or a day curled up in front of the roaring log fire a 5 minute walk will take you to an excellent village pub and restaurant The White Swan Inn. The Dairy also has access to "The Treatment Studio" where you can indulge in a range of complementary therapy treatments. After a hard day walking in the hills or just the need to relax then we offer a range of massages, including hot stones, facial and nail treatments. As well as the private garden guests also have access to the 12 acres of private parkland. Enclosed and with no livestock it is perfect for exercising your furry friends. Guests are greeted on arrival and for newcomers to the area an introduction is given on walks, restaurants and local attractions. The Dairy is set on the outskirts of the pretty village of Llanfrynach and offers peace and tranquility. Just 5 minutes off the A40 The Dairy is easy to find and only just over 3 hours from London. Cars are parked in a dedicated private Car Park which also has an electric charging point.
