This former farmhouse has been tastefully restored and modernised recently (2013), with great respect for ecological and esthetical values. It caters for up to 9 persons. The “gite” is spacious (it consists of 2 separate and very light buildings, joined together by a large terrace) and comfortably equipped with a selection of antiques and modern furniture. The large garden contains two terraces and an ecological swimming pool (3,5X9 m). The house is set in a small hamlet at the boundary of the Limousin and the Quercy regions. The rolling countryside is green pleasant and quiet, but with no less than 4 “plus beaux villages” within 10 miles, the Dordogne river and cosmopolitan Brive (known for its shops) within 15 minutes and medieval towns like Martel, Souillac and Sarlat within easy driving distance, there is plenty for everyone’s taste. The property consists of two separate buildings : The main building has a large and cosy living room on the ground floor with a large old fireplace and large outdoor terraces. The comfortable bedrooms on the first floor easily accommodate 5 persons. The second building has a bathroom and 2-person bedroom on the ground floor and a children’s bedroom on the first floor. How to get there : A20 Vierzon- Toulouse, exit 52; follow Collonges-la- Rouge, then Meyssac, then Les Quatres Routes, exit Berle 2 km after Meyssac.
