A charming terraced cottage, dating back to 1789, fully modernised internally and located in the centre of Callander known as the gateway To The Highlands. Close to countless country walks, rivers, lochs and mountains, and beautiful scenery. The room is large with a new en suite, as well as a sofa, fridge, fast wi-fi connection and a TV with an Apple TV, Netflix and Amazon Prime services. As Guests you decide how much privacy or interaction you would like; we leave it entirely up to you. The room offers a quiet, comfortable space, with views over the river on one side and square and surrounding forest on the other. It is large and has a sofa as well as a mini fridge and crockery so that you can bring food into the (Website hidden by Airbnb) do our outmost to make you feel welcome and make your stay enjoyable so you can make the most out of the beauty surrounding Callander. You will have a front door key to come and go as you please, the room is at the top of the stairs as you enter the house and you will not need to pass through our own space. We are available to help in any way we can. Please feel comfortable to ask. Our house is situated in the heart of Callander, close to the park, river, shops, supermarkets and cafes. The Trossachs area is one of the most beautiful areas in Scotland and Callander is central to all main tourist attractions including the Highlands and is one hour drive to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. As far as public transport is concerned Callander is accessible by bus but not by train. Parking is in the street. Please note that we have two dogs. A small Yorki who is in the house and a German Shepherd and lives in a kennel outside. Both are friendly.
