Our beautiful Cofu home in a traditional Greek village with peace and tranquillity is so very special. Perched high on a hill, this three story building has sweeping views of mainland Greece and Albania across the Ionian sea. Five minutes drive to the beautiful beaches and fun filled restaurants. The house is set amongst beautiful walnut Trees and surrounding olive groves. .....This is a place that is away from the tourist scene and bright lights and for the guests who wants absolute peace and stunning Views in a home with a foot print going back Centuries ... The house is unique because it has been kept in the traditional style but has been completely renovated, so it is clean and neat and has sweeping views from the lounge. The steps are traditionally steep so not conjusive to having small children,unfortunately. One of the most beautiful restaurants in Corfu, Balis Taverna with views of almost the entire island, within strolling distance of our house. The cobbled streets and cafes where you feel as if you have gone back in time . PLEASE NOTE.. Keys for the house are at Ballis Taverna with George or Freada.. Who will explain all to You... The historical atmosphere, fabulous walks, peace and tranquility only five minutes away from the buzzing beaches and restaurants. Mostly the friendliesness of our local neighbours. We make a point of respecting our local neighbours who allow us to share their space. So please do like wise. Access to and from the house to the beachfront requires a car, quad or scooter. It takes about 5 minutes, the road is quite steep and winds through beautiful olive groves. It is a very popular walk as well. Chlomos has 3 access roads, leading to either side of the island. And is 30 minutes away from Lefkimi, where ferries go to surrounding islands eg Paxos or mainland Greece.
